I am unable to achieve temp of greater than 412deg F. What am I doing wrong?

Answer: Are you measuring the actual stone temp? It is much higher than what the digital readout displays.

Answer: Your pizza oven isn’t getting hotter than 412?? If you’re installing it correctly, with the pizza oven directly over the firebox, you shouldn’t have this problem.

Will this work on a Traeger grill?

Answer: It’s specifically designed for the firebox on the GMG. I suppose if you can fabricate metal you could make it fit just about anything. Good luck!

Ocean Research : works great on RecTeq RT-700

For RT-700, remove the grates, drip pan and heat deflector and put this pizza oven right over the fire box, wait 20 minutes for it to get to the right temp (use an infrared thermometer) and wood-fired pizzas are done in 3-5 min. fantastic addition to the wood pellet grill. highly recommend. get a pizza peel so you don't get burned.
