Is this the g100gh-3pk or the g300gh-3pk? it says one in the title and the other in the description. one is 7/8 oz and the other is 1oz version

How Heavy are the Gotchas?.

Answer: At least 6 different weights from 5/8 - 2 oz. I use the 1 or 1 1/4 oz for blues and mackerel from a pier,

Are these authentic gotcha?

Answer: Yes they are.

I'm looking for lures to throw from the surf for spanish mackeral. Will these work or do they sink too fast? If not, any other ideas? thx very much!

Answer: Mostly thought of as a pier fisherman’s lure, I have had good success with Gotcha-Plugs in the surf. Enough at least to keep one or two in my surf fishing tackle bag. My favorite being the white bodied lure with a red head. I fish it much like the Mirrolure (think about fishing a deep trough - inside the first bar - no need to use your big surf casting rods), however I tend to use a faster retrieve and randomly give the lure a good jerk as I reel it in. My only real complaint, is the tendency of this lure to snag its own leader.

Answer: They are excellent from a pier or above the water casting from a boat but don't think they would be what I would use in the surf. A stingsilver or kastmaster would be what you would want for casting from the bank or wading in the surf.

What are the weights and lengths of the lures?? Might be useful info to include in the description, seller . . .if you even read these . . .

Answer: Prolly like 3-4inches long and 5-6oz of weight not very sure on the exact weight and length of it. But im pretty sure it works!

Answer: I so sorry I don't know the weights and I put my tackle box in storage for the season. They are about 4 inches long. If you go to Walmart they have the same ones for more mooney

Is this good for fishing off the pier? Usually catch pacific mackerels.

this is a good lure but for Spanish mackerel use the shiny ones because the Spanish run up to these look at them and swim away but for bluefish and trout and toothy fish there great.

Good basic jig, needs some tweaking. I cut off the trouble{treble} hooks & replace them with single Buck-tail wrapped hooks to add attraction & contrast. grouper & snapper love them. It doesn't hurt to tip them with some squid or cut bait.

I finally got on the water today, first time in a while. Was excited to use these lures finally. After 2 casts, the paint on the lures started to rip and tear off, fade away. I will tell you that there was no snags, no hitting bottom, and no hits on the lure by any fish. This is just a cheap, poorly made product that you should avoid buying. Spend the extra money on better products. I was extremely disappointed with these lures that after using the red and white one, seeing what happened to just that one lure, I threw them in the trash.
