Answer: 7 pk. I do very well in north and central Florida with it. I fish it without a weight and let it sink. Then reel it about 2 or 3 feet and let it sink again. Work it right up to the side of the boat. Red shad is my favorite color. Yellow and brown swirl is also good. When the lure gets beat up try wacky rig. It works well that way also. Don't leave home with out it.

Answer: Eight per pack. This is a very durable worm. I catch multiple fish with each worm. When it gets beat up rig it wacky style. It works very well that way. Shim-E-Stick is one of my favorite lures, if not my favorite.

I purchased outside of amazon the Pumpkin Green (definitely cheaper on the outside). It definitely catches the bass. My son pulled in some nice bass this morning. Better than my personal best at his age!.. LOL So definitely recommend.

This red shad is a killer bait for smallmouth bass. I wacky-rig it and drag it across the bottom with an occasional little jerk in the motion.
Has been more effective than all my other artificial worms.
Try it, you'll like it.

Good stick bait. I primarily use these and Yum "Dinger" soft plastic worms. These are slightly lighter and less translucent than the Yum brand. They are both about the same in terms of durability.

If I'm in need of a dark worm on a cloudy day, I'll go with the black shim-e-stick for its slower fall and deeper black color. Still casts well weightless.

My only qualm with this model is that they tend to tear around the girth of the worm when bass strike hard, I prefer the Yum's for wacky rig. Also the embedded salt seems to wash out quicker in the strike kings, but it's to be expected with this type of lure. Good value.

I had some pretty good luck with this lure but i've heard that the bass in my lake prefer purple so it'd be awesome if Strike King made their baits in purple too. I had the lime/chart.

Great new stick worm from Strike King!! Soft, subtle, great for any worm fishing & rigging. I find them especially productive Texas rigged weightless or wacky rigged. Windy or rough or currents?? These also work well with weight added, just enough to get em down a bit or heavy for that bottom contact. Whatever you like you'll be happy with these baits, I know I am!!

Basswoman : Green Pumpkin Chartreuse Swirl Shim-E-Stick

I love the Shim_E-Stick bait and prefer three specific colors. This one combined two of the colors I like for bass fishing, so I decided to give it a shot. Fished in two ponds and 3 different lakes. Got a few nibbles on it but solid bites and no fish landed. Will not give up on it just yet. Will try fishing different set-ups.

Vincent : A Wonderful Worm

Slightly longer and lighter than a 5" Senko, the Shim E Stick has a similar vibration on the fall when fished weightless either wacky style or Texas rigged. The ribs on the body seem to hold the wacky o-rings better than smoother bodied worms. They stand-up well to repeated largemouth bass catches. I still prefer the Senko with its denser, heavier body, but I use the Strike King if I want a slower fall rate and for colors not available in the Senko, like the Baby Bass that is a laminate of green with flecks of gold and bright green glitter on top and white on the bottom or the green pumpkin / chartreuse swirl that has a banded effect like the vertical stripes on some bait fish. Another benefit over the Senko is that the Shim E Sticks are about half the price.
