These were the perfect gift for my guys at deer camp. I expected them to be plastic or worse. I'm sure I could have read the description. For those of us who look at pictures and read reviews though, these are very high quality for the price. They are ceramic, and cute as a button. Considering that our camp doesn't have plumbing or potable water they are also suitable. Now, the guys can use an outhouse to put Salt and Pepper on their eggs before they walk to the outhouse to take care of daily ablutions.

It’s just the metal cap edge has a little bit of an outward flare on my set. Honestly? Every basic salt/pepper shaker has the same issue. That metal is thin.
