Big Disappointment, as we were 8searching for a similar shaker size for our yellow lab shaker which recently broke. Local stores all have slightly larger one. So we were thrilled to add a black to our counter. I have the gator. It was a bit darker than I anticipated from the photo online so I almost returned it. I let it sit out, unused for a few days & it grew on me fast. It’s a great conversation poece on the table. People think it’s darling & I have since fell in love with it. I want the paper towel holder now! ???? Con: I used a bit of sand paper to smooth the edge of the metal twist cap. I noticed I’d probably get a superficial cut from trying to open it to refill bottles. It’s just the metal cap edge has a little bit of an outward flare on my set. Honestly? Every basic salt/pepper shaker has the same issue. That metal is thin.
