I plan on using it for northern pike fishing, but would it be effective against largemouth bass? or, even smallmouth bass?

Answer: I’ve fished this for tiger Muskie in my area (which also has bass) and never had a bass bite it. From my own experience, no. Others might have better luck. Love this lure for Muskie tho.

I bought this for my brother who lives in Muskie country and fishes a lot. He was thrilled with the lure and when I inspected it, I found it to be of high quality. I can attest to its effectiveness catching fish though—after all, they call the activity "fishing" not "catching" for a reason.

A classic all-around muskie/pike spinner. It casts long, comes with sharp hooks and is very durable.

I was excited to try out this lure. I heard nothing but great things about it but after 2 cast it fell apart and the only thing was left was the eye u tie your line or steel leader too. Very disappointed I think mine might of been defective.

Mepps is one of the only lures I fish with any more. Have caught big mouth bass, northern Pike, even Snook in Florida with Mepps lures. Get multiple sizes and colors. Mepps #4 is my fave of all.
