Answer: A 3/0 hook and 4/0 hook both work with the lures when you use Texas Rigs. Hope it helps.

which one of the worms float?
Answer: Thanks for your question, the worms can't float on water. We do have topwater frog lures, lipless crankbaits and topwater pencil popper which can float, you can check them under our brand name RUNCL. Hope it helps.

Which variation is best for trout? Tapered Tail or thick round?
Answer: Thanks for your question. We don't recommend wacky worms for trout fishing. But we do have some other lures (spinners, paddle tail worm 1.96in, fly flies) better for trout, you can check them under our brand name RUNCL.

I was pretty impressed when I received these worms. They seemed to be as good as anything I have ever bought at a box store for more money. The heavy-duty storage box was a bonus, especially since I dropped it twice and it didn’t open.
I live in Arizona, this is a weird time of year to fish being the end of Monsoon season, but I was excited to give these worms a try so I headed to a local lake. I settled in about 6am in a weedy area and after setting up an Ultrahead Wacky Jighead with a Silver worm, I started to throw some casts. Not much going on so I changed the color to Yellow and that made a difference. I was getting quite a few bites, just not big hits. Again, I changed the color to the Red, same thing, a lot of interest and bites, but no big hits. It was 8am at this point so, I just concluded that the storm we had the night before was probably working against me. But the Red and Yellow worms were shown a lot of interest by what I assume were Bass. Looking forward to going back again after the Monsoon settles down. I excited to give these worms another try.
