what is the depth of this net?

Answer: Just measured the one I purchased. It's a big net, about 40 inches in depth. I haven't used it yet because its been to cold for fishing.

Is this a teardrop net ?

Answer: I used this net as replacement in a large Frabill landing net that I've had for years and used in ocean fishing. While it wasn't called "teardrop", the landing net does have a teardrop shape as opposed to round or rectangular. The replacement net is very large and very deep. Make sure your landing net is large enough for this replacement.

How much weight can this net handle?

Answer: It has easily handled 45 pound salmon, ling, and halibut for us. I haven't had the opportunity to test it any heavier than that, but I had no doubts or concerns about its capacity for these fish.

can i make this fit my 33 x26" hoop?

Answer: no

what material is it made of?

From the picture there are 3 nets. Which net are the seller referring to?

Answer: the one on the left is tangle free

Will this work with a 36 inch hoop?

Answer: My net size was 33x37 so not sure if will fit a 36" hoop. I did not use this net since I felt that it was too shallow (it is not 4 ft if measured perpendicular from hoop) for salmon.

Answer: it says it can fit up to a 41 in so i would think so if the net was under 36 in i would say no

Mac Ling Candy SC : Fit my large 33" salmon fishing Net

Had bought a Hook tangle free rubber coated replacement net with small net opening which turn out to be to heavy to land a fish with the boat moving at 2Knots. So I bought this one as it has larger weave and lighter making it easier to handle when landing a fish. Works Great.
