The guy is a little flashy for me, but I like that he won it. I like seeing the consistant guys get it. It would have been a nice cindarella story if Fralic one it, but I hate cindarella stoies. To me it says anyone can do it. I know he was in the 51 who made it there, but I like a big name winner. To me that shows fishing is less about luck and more about ability.

Congratulations to Skeet. I was pulling for my man from Missouri, Snowden. (Have to root for the locals. ) Skeet has definitely been a consistent performer and it is nice to see him put this last feather in his cap.

I'm not sure what else Skeet was throwing but Ike was pitchin' black/red flake tubes texas rigged.

Agreed. Was pulling for Ike, but both of them can take the sport further into mainstream sports america by their market appeal.

Bass Dude--I never thought of that--Put it together "skeet" and Cali--like toast and Jelly
Congrats Skeet--too bad for Fralic (sp?)--all he needed was 16lbs. after catching 19 each day, he fell off the third day.
And Ike did too much Fish management and left a few lbs behind the first 2 days. He was aiming for 15-18 each day then hammer them the third (which he did). Maybe he should have been more aggressive the 2nd day. Its all hindsight though
Skeet earned it and has been consistent the last few years.

He has some kind of special fishing powers. He was in 10 th place then came in second in last day. How skilled is that, all he needed to do was focus. Mike Ike is real dangerous for sure.

I thought I heard him mention Biosonix as one of his sponsors? Didn't BASS ban Biosonix back when KVD went on that streak a few years back? Or was that just a rumor they were going to ban it?
