I ask because you might have one that i have not seen yet that might be interesting. What is your favorite fishing show?
1)Bill Dance
2)Shaw Grigsby
3)Hank Parker
4)Joe Bucher
1 Shaw Grisby
2 Bill Dance
3 Hank Parker
4 Roland Martin
5 Schooled by Denny Bauer
I like the tournament shows the best. Bassmasters is my favorite by far, followed by the FLW shows. I like Bassmasters better because they spend more time on the fishing and don't spend half the show on the weigh-in.
I also like Schooled w/ Denny Brauer as it shows the common man trying to fish, something I can relate to. I also like to see how a professional fishes water he has never been on, and how they go through their decision making process.
I actually a salt water show the best--Addictive Fishing w/Capt Blair Wiggins. He's extremely entertaining and he does one thing that most of the fresh water guys don't genuinely do, that's get excited.
Other than that, since I'm trying to get more into tournament fishing and learning how to break down new lakes (I travel a great deal with my job), I like Schooled by Denny Brauer. I just wish they'd make the show an hour long and go into detail a little more.
One dislike I'll add is an aspect of Fishing with Roland Martin. Roland focuses tooooooo much on the Product Showcases. I realize the sponsors pay for the show, but I think he gets a bit excessive.
Here is my list
1)Schooled by Denny Brauer he shows me the things i forgot about fishing and has made me more critical of the people i fish with. I always tell them "you didn't watch Denny did you" lol
2) Larry Nixon
3) BASSMASTER
4)Hank Parker
5)Bill Dance
I used to love Bassmasters when it was on up here, but now in my small town we don't get it anymore. I've never seen the FLW shows. I used to like In-Fisherman and Hank Parker as well. Nowadays I only get the Canadian shows and Bob Izumi's Real Fishing is the best one on Canadian TV!
1- Bill Dance
2- InFisherman - im surprised more people didint mention it.
3- Shaw Grigsby
4- Larry Nixion - even though i never see it anymore
And i completly agree with AUTgrPILOT Roland Martin pushes his product so much it makes me want to turn of the TV.
I also like Fishing University
1. Infisherman,/linders edge?
2. bassmasters
3. Spanish fly.
4. Bill dance
Has anyone else noticed how red fishing tournaments are getting bigger and better or what.
1. Linders Angling Edge
2. In-Fisherman
3. Denny Brauer Schooled
4. Fishing University
5. The new Strike King show especially the KVD segments.
6. Bob Izumi. Your right still a good show.
7. Tony Dean isn't on very often but great panfish segments and ice fishing.
8. Shaw Grigsby
9. Every so often Jimmy Houston. I can OD easily on him.
10. Hank Parker. My wife would probably move him to the top of the list.
I always liked In-Fisherman with Al Linder. Now I suppose Linders Angling Edge would be good but we don't get it here.
Denny Brauer is #1 for me.
There is another show on Sports South that shows boat modding sometimes but I don't know the name of it. Kind of like a DIY for boaters. Watched them mount an in dash fish finder and made it look easy and professionally done. They also rebuilt a lower unit once. That show was taped.
ESPN has the new saturday lineup on thier website, starting with BassCenter a play on sports center. Plus there's a few new shows that sound interesting.
I like most shows, I enjoy fresh and salt water so I do watch most, the one with the 2 canadian ladies is sorta hard for me to watch. courtney and somebody. They seem to be really really trying but for some reason just doesnt seem to work for me anyhow.
watching roland trout fish at this moment:)
tight lines
Danny
1) bassmasters
2)flw tour
3)bill dance
4)larry nixon

Sometimes I watch Real Fishing with Bob Izumi if I happen to see it on channel surfing.

Bump..could someone please help me with that? ;D
Bill dance is a good one as well as Roland martin. ( OH SON! ) haha tred bartas show is intresting. i dont like him too much. On one of his shows he talks to himself in the third person... ( Still dont understand why. ) then he gaffs his fish and beats it with a hammer.... how cruel?
I notice no one speaks of Keith Warren. His show is plain poor.
Plus he has a habbit of keeping bass. Dont he realize that there are enough meat eaters fishing allready. He always makes sure to give a close up of the bass going into the livewell. Kinda rubbing it in.
I miss the Lary Nixon shows they were the best I watched.
1.bassmaster
2.bill dance
3.bassmaster university
4.schooled by denny brauer

3) Fishing University
4) Hank Parker
5) Jimmy Houston
Bill Dance
Did I say Bill Dance??
BASS Saturday us all great so is classic patterns and angler on tour and Bill Dance
Schooled by Denny Brauer. Hands down. Very good breakdown of good and bad points.
Im loving this new Red Fish cup. Never fished for them but you get a lot of fishing time on the show. I certainly believe bass guys can be schooled by some of the pros.
Denny Brauer
Bill Dance
Hank Parker
Bass Masters
I dont know if anyone else watches it or used to watch it but my favorite is by far, Honey Hole. (The TV magazine show) would be interested to see if anyone else is a fan.
All of them.....Bass Saturdays........lol
BILL DANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1. Bassmasters (good coverage of actual pressure fishing situations)
2. FLW Outdoors
3. Schooled by Brauer
4. In Fisherman (those guys are ALWAYS on the big ones) and take time to explain their techniques and thought processes.
1- Bassmaster U
2- Classic patterns
3- Denny Brauer
4- Bass Champs
5- Angling Edge
My list:
1. Bassmaster Tour
2. Bassmaster University
3. FLW Tour
4. Classic Patterns ( Am I the only one? )
5. Schooled by Denny Brauer
6. Linders Angling Edge
all of the above but Angler on tour the best.Joe going to make it big someday.
Anything with the Lindners in it.
Yeah, Joe Thomas sure is due for a win. his show aint that bad either. He is one of my heros next to Denny, Larry, and Roland.
1) Fishin hole..just because I always have liked Jerry
2) Bassmaster Tour
3) Bassmaster University
I like Bill Dance but it seems to me that most of his fishing seems to be on private ponds-lakes.
The one that will get all the answers to the Tony Christian controversy!
every show now on ESPN/BASS saturdays
FLW moved to FSN Fox Sports Network this year. Can't wait to see how they run the show. Feb 6th.
Used to be "In-Fisherman" with Al Lindner....now it's "The Mad Fisherman" with Charlie Moore. I expect only those folks who live in New England get it, since it's on NESN.
QuoteI dont know if anyone else watches it or used to watch it but my favorite is by far, Honey Hole. (The TV magazine show) would be interested to see if anyone else is a fan.
Yes, I am. Unfortunately, it's only available on satellite in my area, which I don't have. :'(
My girlfriend is the best one to ask this question to and her answer is........
" ALL OF THEM!!!!!"
And she is right.
I've been following Joe Thomas for a while now and I agree he's due. I like his show also, good info and his mindset before, during and after tourneys.
check out Angler on tour.
WHERE'S THE LOVE FOR JIMMY HOUSTON!!
Let's sing it together now, 1, 2, 3, 4:
"It's late in the day and the sun's gettin' low, caught me a big'un but I let him go,
sure had fun just watchin' him stretch my line. . ."
I just wish it came on later in the morning. If I'm going to be up at 6:30 or 7:00 on Saturday morning, I'm going to be fishing!
