What are everyone's pbs? When? On what?
Mine is a 5.5 pounder on a Dropshot during the spawn. (A decent fish for NH)
7.5#
Wacky rig, can't remember worm color
off hand...
I don´t have a pic of my PB, but I do have one of my 2nd best:
13.5 lbs, 4 inch Yum Dinger.
12.5 lbs a white manns classic spinnerbait
No pictures!
12 lbs 8 ozs
Red Chrome Rat-L-Trap
Cold foggy drizzle February morning!
9.78, on an unweighted june bug Brush Hog...I have pictures but I could never figure out how to post anything on here. After the first 6 months I stopped trying. Trust me it is one gorgeous fish!

7.8 lbs early May(a few weeks ago) on an Arkie rattleband 1/4 oz black/blue jig.
Not the fattest but one of my PB smallies here in Virginia. 19.5". Caught mid January on a green pumpkin coffee tube at Great Falls.
Biggest LMB was 7.13 but no picture of that one unfortunately. iPhone decided to take a swim earlier that morning.
Largemouth.............7lbs 1oz. Oct. 2014, Conesus lake. 1oz. punching jig with a havoc pit boss trailer. Picture of said fish was my Avatar for a while.............I'm too lazy to dig it up.
Smallmouth..................6lbs even. May 2008, Silver Lake. 4" green pumpkin finesse worm on a drop shot rig. No pictures, as it was on a phone that now resides in the bottom of the lake.
11-11 LMB - 3/4 SK Red Eye Sexy Shad - Lake Baccarac Mexico.
6-4 SMB LC Pointer 128 American Shad Lake Erie
A-Jay
LMB 5-5 - May 2014 - Carrow Creek, MI
Nailed my Orange/Mango BlueFox Vibrax Spinner as soon as it hit the water.
In April with a chatter bait, 7.5
First time was during the spawn on the lake closest to me last year. Up shallow in the middle of a little channel leading into a cove. Caught on a wacky rigged BPS green pumpkin stick-o. Hooked in the gills so I released her asap, no picture unfortunately but I figured it would give her a better chance. Weighed in at 5.40 exactly.
Second time. This year on a larger lake about 20 minutes from my house. Fishing the deeper edge of a spawning flat during the pre-spawn. Caught on a Lethal Weapon IV green pumpkin orange swimjig + 4" Kietech Swimbait for a trailer. She weighed in at exactly 5.40.....again. But at least this time I got a picture.
Largemouth-10lb 2oz, Lake Commendero, Mexico, 8" Zoom Lizard in watermelonseed. I was reeling in to make another cast, fish chased it to the boat, released some line and it sank about a foot before my line stopped, whole fight lasted less than 10 seconds.
Smallmouth-I've had 3 hit 5 pounds even on the scale, 2 from Milford Lake, KS. One on a 97MR Slender pointer in chartreuse shad, the other on a watermelon/gold/black Zoom Trick worm on a 1/8oz Slider head. The 3rd was from Melvern Lake, KS on an American Shad LC CBS Zero crankbait.
About a year ago on a golf course pond on a black buzz bait. On a "real" lake probably only about a 3 pounder.
I didn't have a scale but after measuring using a video of her lying next to my rods, she was between 21"-23", which SHOULD put her between 5 and 7 so that's my story and i'm sticking to it.
Mine is an 8# that came off of a beaver dam on a double-willow SB.
Largemouth - 21 1/2" 6.5 lbs, Caught on the opening day of fishing season in 2007 on Miller Dam near Gilman, WI. I caught my first bass of the year about 15 minutes after I started and it was 18" thought I was off to a great start to the season. Caught another dink or two in the next 15 minutes and then it happened. She fell for a Terminator Super Stainless "bleeding bait" spinnerbait. White with double gold colorado blades. I remember the second I laid eyes on her, the first thing I saw was the mouth open under water and I just about crapped myself right there.
Smallmouth - I've caught two with identical stats 20 1/2" and 5 lbs even. The first time was opening day of fishing in 2008 (I had pretty good opening days those few years haha). We were fishing out of my dad's boat on Lake Holcombe (WI) and his batteries took a digger over the winter which we were finding out while we were fishing. After a few hours and his 36V system virtually dead to the point the tm prop was barely spinning. We were going to call it quits and idle out of this stumpy flat with a small channel that runs through it. Having not caught a fish and not wanting my 5 year streak of not getting skunked to come to an end I asked if we could drift across it until we got to the channel which we did. On what was going to be one of my last casts before we got out of there I threw a Terminator T-1 in clown pattern to a stump on the other side of the channel and it smoked it in the first few reel turns.
The second one I caught just this last fall, and was probably my true PB as it wasn't a prespawn fish that had eggs in it. I caught it on Sturgeon Bay in WI. I had found a small school of fish the day before hanging around a shipping channel marker anchor, but couldn't get anything to bite. Checked the next day and sure enough they were still there, so I dropped my Berkly Bottom Hopper Jr. down there on a drop shot a few times. I decided to just dead stick it, and when I went to lift it up, there was just dead weight and I thought maybe I had gotten tangled in something down there when i felt the pulse of it swimming a little, so I set the hook and it was game on!
A 6-9 large mouth on a Texas rigged worm with a 3/16 ounce weight in early August
I caught my personal best LMB last summer. It was 4.5 lbs which is a decent size here in Iowa. Caught it on a white chatterbait.
6.25 lbs is my PB I'm claiming as I have caught bigger fish elsewhere with no scales to weigh.
I caught one evening about a week ago. Was fishing a RAW08-271
from http://www.rawoutdoorsinc.com/ Actually got this lure in my LTB.
Found her inside a point just across the lake from the Sanders Cove boat ramp at Pat Mayse Lake.
8 plus pounds, 8.2 on the scale.
Double Secret Pond.
Senko!
Poor thing could hardly jump out of the water.

And that, my friend, is why it helps to take selfies with bass I took up the practice after being in a similar predicatment, my PB of 7.12 is unphotographed and still swimming around. I hope to get some pics with her before too long.

When I'm fishing I don't bring a camera or sometimes not even a cell phone!
It's fishing not photography!

I agree on the phone but since I've started boating out on lakes I take it for emergency reasons. But it stays muted so it doesn't interrupt a master at work

Naw, Catt has my ultimate trust and respect in that regard; I just give him a hard time anyway since he likes to throw shade on my selfies

Same here I just meant in a fun joking way giving him a hard time about it.
This thread comes up every few months. Maybe someone can compile a list of links.
My avatar photo of a mount represents my PB's, there is a photo or 2 on this site somewhere. PB was caught at lake Castaic on a hair jig 19.3 lbs.

6.5 several times. On a frog, a Trick Worm and a Chigger Craw. I can't seem to get over that hump. I know there are at least 8 lb'ers where I fish because my buddy has caught some. But he fishes 4-5 times a week and I might get to go once.
7.13 on 8/24/15 and caught her again on 05/27/2016 then she was 7.10. First time on a black Zoom trick worm, the 2nd time on a black Zoom 6" lizard with blue specs.

Those are very pretty fish. That Bacurato bass must have been in pea soup green water ( no markings on the body, just plain green with orangish fins )
OK for those who asked
The top bass was caught after a long cast into deep water off of an underwater point, after working the jig back I jigged it up & down. Caught the top one first & then the bottom one without making the cast; just dropped the jig straight down. Both weighted between 7.5-8 lbs.
The second picture was taken at the weigh-in; 8.01 lbs took big bass & anchored a 30 lbs stringer. Caught on a 6" Gene Larew Salty Hawg Craw, junebug blue claw.
The third picture was caught bank fishing Lacassine Wildlife Refuge on a Gene Larew 7 1/2" ringworm in camo!
7lb largemouth on a nightcrawler, when I first started fishing. 5.75lb smallmouth on a 3xd a few years ago. No pictures, but the same weekend my buddy caught a 7lb smallie on a shakyhead. Out on the lake at a rural camp with dead cameras and phones with no chargers. It sucked to not get pictures, but it was so cool to watch that fish swim away.
LM......6-10 on a deep running crankbait in 3 feet of water. early June
SM......4-12 black/chartreuse spinnerbait, tandem hammered copper colorado blades mid summer (caught during tournament)
6.74 on a vision 110
my pb is 5# 4oz. Not a giant but a great catch in my area. Caught in the middle of December with ice just starting to form in the water. Use a 1/2oz SK Red Eye Shad in Bleeding Gizzard Shad.
