Do you trim the skirt on this?
Baby brush hog and or a Rage Bug
For me it depends what I'm getting into but it's rare I won't start with a jig/craw.
other choices are RI sweet beaver or Lunker City Ozmo, 5" tubes or Producto 6" Tournament Worm.

Rage Craw
Sweet Beaver

7 inch Berkley Power Worm in black with blue fleck. If I'm on a lake that I know has bigger bass I'll go up to a 10 inch version with the same color. Having said all that, I own just about every kind/brand of flipping bait from Missle baits D-bomb to Lake Forks Ring Fry Worm. I should really sell some of the stuff I have.

I know this one...I have maybe 2 or 3 left and they are quite old so probably should get me some more. Oldham's Screw-Lock. Proper weed guard angle makes these excellent heavy cover choice!

Yes i always trim the skirt at the bend of the hook so the skirt dosent conceal the action of the trailer.
Jig and pig
Two; A Reaction Innovations Sweet or Smallie beaver and a Siebert outdoors Brush Jig.
Rage Bug, and Rage Tail Cut-R... both Rage rigged
Pitboss and kinky beaver
D-Bomb or Pit Boss
Some sort of creature bait in green pumkin.

I really don't have one favorite flipping bait, but two that I use a lot
are the Zoom Z-Craw (black light) and Zoom 7.5” Magnum Ultra Vibe Worm (junebug)
Roger
Yum Christie Craw. Cheap, durable, and they catch fish like crazy.
Senkos. Although of all things, I've had some success with Storm Wildeye Swim Shad as well. Get them about a foot from a fish and you got yourself a bite. They're not exactly weedless or the ideal lure, I just happened to be fishing them and saw a fish in the water in front of me at the time.
Summer Craw magnum Rage bug!
Power Team Conviction Craw, or Rage Bug
Around most cover its the Rage Bug or Space Monkey. In really thick vegetation its the D-Bomb or Biospawn Vilecraw. Around timber its a 3/8 Tungsten Flipping Jig with Rage Bug or Rage Menace trailor.
Jig and craw, Zoom Superhog, or a Zoom Baby Brush Hog.
