Hey Guys i was wondering what your favorite lure was to use and if there are any suggestions on what i should use.
I want to know what lures you use . Ive never caught a 13lb bass .
not trying to be a creep, but, way too many variable to pick just one. example, I love 7 inch black/chartreuse ribbontails....for some condtions.
others? black and silver mann's baby 1 minus....
others, footballhead jig and craw.
What species? What kind of lake? Water clarity? Water temp? Forage base? Need more information.
Gomer's 7/16oz Electric Donkey in diaper yellow
preferably bass
my favorite would be a POP R, OR a buzz bait, I just love to watch them kill it!
Black finesse jig with a cut down rage craw.
KVD 1.5 squarebill in Sexy Shad.
1/4 jighead with a 3" Kalins grub.
a black frog
For river smallmouth my stand by to throw is a tube drug on the bottom. I also use the ned rig, swim baits, jerk baits and cranks. Also senko if I'm getting snagged a lot and the current is not too much.
For largmouth my go to is a trick worm on a shaky head. But that can change with what lake and what time of year.
Same as my favorite bait to use any other time of year, a jig.
Same ones I use during fall & winter just different locations!
I like to run docklines and banks with a 1.5 KVD crankbaits in sexy shad or chartreuse tiger and I like to fish a 3/8 jig

Jig for me too!!!!
The fattest 8"- 10" worm I have...usually a 10" Anaconda.

I love a buzzbait or spook in the mornings or evenings during the summer.
I'll be the boring one...
Senko.
Tube.
Water temp above 65 I start leaning on my willow blade spinnerbaits alot.
Welcome aboard, Gage!
I'll be fishing wacky, drop shot, and now, a lot of
Ned rigs! All year, baby!

Senko.
Why "boring" ? Senkos catch fish and you have fun, isn't fun the final end of the sport ?
Most of the time start out with a spinnerbait,Then a weightless fluke.
chatterbait for spring and jigs and frogs for summer

Agreed ! I never hit the water without senkos. They aren't always the ticket. But more often than not produce... Hell my girlfriend catches bass on them. Toss it out there and they eat it ! It's the closest lure to live bait IMO.
Early on vision 110 then square bills as they move up. Always have a jig or shakey head tied on and then love the buzzbaits in the summer.

I can't always get them to bite mine but it's definitely my favorite to get bit on
White fluke hand painted in JJ's Magic to a sexy shad pattern. Bass can't seem to resist it, and I find it fun coloring the lures myself.

Try the spike it markers ! I like how strong the dye is in j.js magic ! But honestly hate when I get the garlic smell on my hands and packing it around is a hassel . Its good but messy stuff !
If you insist that you like the garlic smell the spike it markers come in garlic but I opt for the crawfish scent. All kinds of colors and you can "paint" them on the spot. They say for soft plastics but they work on hardbaits too ! And it doesn't wash off! They are legit and I have all the colors. They can be had for like 1.99...

Never used Spike It before as I have been a long time JJ's man. These markers sound way more convenient though, I'll have to give them a try. Thanks for the tip!
@Bass & Boilermakers not to hijack this thread . But this was a baby bass fluke with blue and chartreuse that I added and used this fluke for well over an hour and the dye was strong as ever.
My favorite is a weightless Texas rigged senko.
3 that I use every time out, regardless of season are 1) Texas rigged Culprit worm, 2)Jig and 3) Spinnerbait.
