I recently went to buy a Worm binder for easier organization of my plastics then the old gallon ziplocks. Well when I looked at the amount of worms, craws, senkos, etc. I would have to hold, it was insanity and I am sure im not even close to the worst offender on these boards. Do you guys ever look over all your plastics and think,"how did I get to this point"?
Even worse, I end up using roughly the same 6 combinations of style/color.
I think we are all there. I have lots of plastics for different styles, techniques, conditions etc. To go even further, I usually have multiple colors of the each. I like to experiment with new things that come out, but to be honest. I could probably pick 5 plastics in 2 or 3 colors each that would do the job in any condition. But what fun is that?
I just got rid of all the ones I don't use. Traded it for a new reel and a lot of baits I have been using. Works for me!
I try to sell mine or use em up testing new things while killing time fishing.
I have about another 1/3rd to get rid of.
Huh???????????????
I have well over 100# of plastics, but I buy most in bulk!
x
I stopped buying plastics two-three years ago. To embarressed to count them. Exampled by 300-400 Berkley 10" Power worms. I don't want to know how many Smithwick Rogues I have. Wiggle Warts Aah !
I havent bought a bag of plastic since last year.. trying to spread out my fishing into hardbodies and spinnerbaits (as always)
Maybe.....
Going in the morning so I bought 5 more sacks of Trick worms & Baby Brush Hogs!

Good luck!
Man every time my favorite plastics go on sale I buy a bunch of bags. BPS had a dump bin with their brand baits in colors you can't find (or that I've never seen anyways), like their 7" Stick O in solid black. I just can't help myself in that situation.
I only fish a fluke, once in awhile a senko, always same color, they go back into their original package.

this is exactly what i've done lately (aside from rage tail craws/keitech swimbaits for jig/swim jig trailers, can't keep enough of those)

you know you mean business when you refer to the plastics you purchase as "sacks"!!! good luck to you too!
A few years ago when dad was still alive, he saw my plastics bag and laughed. He said "I know where you spend your extra money". I've cut back some since, but I think about that sometimes when I'm grabbing a few packs at the store.
My fishing buddies call me the local Bass Pro shops. I have quite the stock of plastics. Have given some away, sold others and I STILL have a ton to work through. I have slowed down my purchase of plastics considerably. I think I am making a dent this year. LOL .... Just foolin' myself

I couldn't agree more with this.
What! Y'all don't call em sacks of worms?
Started the morning with severe thunder storms, lighting, & 60 mph gust!
Sat in the truck for 1 1/2 hours then went out & kicked bass, 12 bass in 3 hours.
2 on brush hogs & 10 on frogs
I have Sterlite containers stacked to the brim with bags of plastics. I have enough to last for years but still always find something new at the tackle shop that catches my eye.
Plastic baits are like fishing rods and women's shoes.
You never have enough.
I have a ton and I will probably never be able to fish them all. I think the choices of soft plastic we have now a days just increases our fishing fun.

Im glad to see buying all those extra brush hogs paid off for you....
all the time. I know I will never use them all, and end up buying more stuff I don't need.
I like to think of it like those movies where the action hero goes into a weapons locker and has four walls of guns and explosives to pick from, and he gets to pick what he feels like using for that day. When I get my backpack ready for fishing I like to look at all the plastics and crap I have and pick a few here and there that I feel like using that day. Definitely adds to the fun.
I wouldn't even want to guess tha amount of plastics I have in totes or in worm binders. Thousands of packs...
NEVER!!! Probably, though, if I'm honest, but NEVER!!!
