That dog will hunt. Congrats!
Congratulations on the new wife!
Thanks guys I'm so excited feel like a kid at Christmas lol!!!
Any good links you can recommend for first time boat owners? I saw some videos about backing up trailer and loading and loading I got experience with that.
Congrats on the new to you boat! I hope it treats you well and you slay man bass out of it!
Just in time for spring. Congrats
I used to have an awesome old skeeter tri-hull. Sturdy boat. That one looks like it was well cared for. Even the jell coat and carpet.
Congratulations! I'm sorry...
Congrats on the boat, looks like its got a ton of storage. My best tip, don't forget to put the plug in.
That'll get the job done, just fine! Enjoy!
Congrats
now let's see some pics of the catch
Congratulations! Looks great. Enjoy
Nice. Take care of her, and she'll take care of you.
May you make many happy memories with her.
Nothing, and I mean nothing, compares to the day when you buy your first bass boat. Congratulations!

Hmmmmm, I disagree. But since this is a family friendly forum, I'll leave it at that.
Thanks guys taking my fiancee out and my son today very excited and so are they, gonna be a great family experience. Should have done this years ago especially living in South Florida so many different places to explore.

I am envious. Good luck and be safe looks like she was really taken care of.
Congrats
Just make sure you pay attention to your states rules. life jackets, throw-able, lights, flares, etc. Be safe and enjoy!

Thanks!!! I was very skeptical of buying her due to the age but once I met the gentleman that was selling it and saw it in person and my marine mechanic buddy checked it out I couldn't pass it up for the price he was asking he babied that boat took care of it like a child, I got lucky.
Congrats!
Congrats on the boat. It is a game changer as to how much easier it is to fish from a real boat.
No offence to the jon boat guys I have one too but for a lake it's no comparison.
So, how did things go? Where did you launch from?
Way to go, I fished out of one of those years ago. Always enjoyed it.

Went great fished out of Loxachee refuge in South Florida, caught about 12 bass 1-3lb range very windy out boat handled it well drove incredibly smooth with that Tri hull, so nice having all that room to move around and stand up and fish, ton of storage and motor ran like a beast, what a difference I been in Jon boats all my life and caught a lot of fish in them and had fun but there is no comparison.
Yep, I bet that boat is a LOT more comfortable than that jon boat. Congrats!
Congrats! Getting your first "real" bass boat is a total game changer.
Lox is a cool place to fish... Glad everything went smooth the first time out. I graduated from a John boat to a bigger bass boat too. Total game changer lol
Now I understand why guys go out and buy 20ft bass boats with 250 hp motors lol it's like fishing in your family room
Good luck with your new friend. Now get out and use it. Nothing worse for a boat then sitting and not being used. I would use only recreational fuel, its ethanol free. Go on-line you may find a station close with ethanol free gas. In Broward there are a bunch, and a Florida web site listing them.

Maybe check this out. I have a older carbureted 2 stroke and did a little fuel educating on myself. This article brings up some good points I didn't know.
Considering Ethanol-Free Gas?

Loading and unloading advice. Do all your prep at home, or in a clear area, and not right at the ramp. When pulling out, clear the ramp as soon as possible. Once clear, then pack everything up. Nothing worse then a guy taking 20 minutes to clear the ramp. As for the plug, don't forget it. If you own a boat long enough, we have all done it at least once. Good luck, you'll have a great time, I hope to meet you out there at one of the Broward spots.
Here are a few more things that I will share with you. Sooner or later you will want to launch the boat by yourself. There are three things that make life nicer. Boat Buckles attached to the trailer are great. When you release them they retract and stay in place on the trailer. A Motor Totor like Motor Mate is nice. It takes very little room and can be stored easily till you recover the boat. Lastly I like my Z Launch cable.
Check out the videos on youtube. I use mine a lot if my partner is not good at handling the truck/boat or if I am by myself. It is so easy to use, but can save a lot of time at the ramp. None of these are required, but they make my boating more convenient.
It's been going great doing some work on her replacing fuel lines, fuel tank, bought new battery for motor, gonna change water pump and fuel pump, grease prop shaft, clean carberator out.Maybe fish lol.
