Is this completely waterproof? i purchased a "waterproof" box from another seller and it isn't even water resistant. thanks!

Answer: I purchased this box and used it for surf fishing. I too was a little disappointed to find out that it is not waterproof if it is submerged, but definitely water resistant. While most compartments stayed dry, I did find completely filled compartments where water had seeped in. BUT it was very easy to clean as I do with all my fishing gear and the locks (even with a little sand mixed in) still worked perfectly after a quick fresh water rinse. I still do like the product for my local fishing experience as it does fit will in my waist pack and allows for the various gear that I compartmentalize. Hope this helps

Answer: NO,i am very upset,it is not a waterproof box.The sealing around O ring with a bad quality so not water proof per description. And box look much bigger,but acturelly the box is too small,compartments way too small for what I needed.

Design is even nicer than I anticipated. Inside lids are awesome and clear. Compartments on the size I ordered are suitable for flys only on one side. Small flies that is. The other would only take my tiniest crappie baits. Wish I’d ordered a size larger

I fish about once, maybe twice a year so I didn't want a big tackle box. Just something to hold a few of my lures, some weights, fishing bobbers, etc. I did a quick browse and saw this on sale, thought this would be perfect for my annual fishing trip so I got it. Well, I should have checked the dimensions because when I tried to put all my stuff in there, I realized that it won't fit any fishing bobbers (those round red/white bobbers). If I had checked the dimensions, I would have figured it out so that's on me but just warning for others in case they're thinking the same thing. I'm sure this would be fine for some folks who only want to store lures but it would be great if they made it a little deeper (not bigger per se because I like the overall size) to work for that.

Loved the product. I was able to organize my tackle for fishing. Second day of using it, one of the tab to keep the lid closed broke.(so all of your tackle didn’t fall out). Now the case doesn’t close cause the plastic clip is broke.

Just for comparison... You can see how tiny the slots are.... With the sunflower seeds in one of them... I ordered the small size and it is really more of a pill box. It is very well made and I like that it is waterproof... But no way is this practical for fishing... Unless you used it only for weights... I'm not even sure if a hook will fit in any of these. I'll keep though for advil in the kayak... A bit pricey though for what it does.
