Would this work for catfish? And what kind of bait for this set up?

Answer: Yes it works great for catfish as well. You can use the same pack bait (bread crumbs, jello, corn). Place a piece of corn on each hook, pack the bait tight on the swivel, get your line wet and wait.

Don't understand the technique: You pack the cage with your mix and then what? Do you put small boilies on each hook? Or fold the hooks into the mix?

Probably illegal in the US, right?

This does an awesome job holding packbait! Sharp hooks, easier than expected to untangle, and once the fish is hooked there is no escape. Great for carp, catfish, and buffalo... the carp was released safely back in the water just in case you was wondering
