The KOIOS Vacuum Sealer is very similar to vacuum sealers twice the price. there is no set required, just take it out to the box and start sealing. It comes with everything you need to get started, some vacuum sealer bags, and a cutter which is stored inside the sealer. I have tried it with some old Foodsaver bags that I had left from before my Foodsver died and it worked perfectly. It is very simple to use, it has a powerful vacuum and seals well. This was a very good purchase, I highly recommend.

I bought this to stop having issues with freezer burn (talking about within a month), AND I wanted to prep larger amounts of meats and preseason my chicken meals. When I say I am Soooooo happy with this unit... I mean BABY I AM OVER THE MOON WITH JOY!!! It works great and it is simple to wipe down with a Lysol wipe when finished to sanitize. The lil cutter works smoothly and all. Just don't leave too much liquid or oils in the bags, a lil goes a long way! Saves a ton of space too and the way I flattened the ground beef, it defrosts quickly. Go on and get you one!

I bought my Foodsaver brand vacuum sealer at Costco for $150 and it stopped vacuuming at around the 2 month mark. They took my return and gave me a new one which would sometimes vacuum well and sometimes not~Crazy!
I had an older model for 10 years and now, IMO, they just produce crap. This is a brand I am learning to trust and I was excited to see that they offer a vacuum sealer at HALF the price of the name brand. I am not disappointed as it seems heavier and better made (more like my older version of Foodsaver) .

At first, I thought I got a lemon. You have to mash down on the ends to get the unit to clamp down and seal a bag. In looking at the two plastic hooks that accomplish that seal, I’m not expecting it to be problem-free forever. Works fast, and quite simple to use. The instructions are horrible as virtually all Chinese-made products are provided with. YouTube is your friend here. A couple of the first bags didn’t seal properly, but 100% since. Read up on this; you can’t vacuum seal liquids. They have to be pre-frozen. Even fruit with some juice in the bag. Overall very pleased, but a bit skeptical of durability. Minor: the power cord never wraps under the unit the way they expect it to.

Great compact product. Save a ton of space and makes it a lot easier to use. Compared to my food saver, which is heavy and bulky, this is more suited for a real counter top machine. Comes with precut cut bags ready to go. Great for quick marinating and Costco bulk items. Great way to save space and money. Bang for the buck.
