Mighty Buttercup : So quiet
The first thing I noticed about this dehydrator is how unbelievably quite this is. I upgraded from a round, stackable, Nesco dehydrator that was so noisy and this you seriously can barely tell it is on. I was surprised as well at how cool the exterior of the dehydrator stayed while in use. My Nesco would get downright hot but this was still cool to the touch after 12 hours.. Note that the door opens from the size like a refrigerator and not down like a stove.
So far it has worked beautifully. I have dehydrated Watermelon, Jerky, Peaches and cherries. Cherries are really hard to dehydrate and this worked perfectly.
I love the LED light, it is such a nice clean light. Since the trays are completely removable, cleaning it is so simple. We use this a lot but not constantly to where we store it on the counter so the handles on the side make this really easy to move around, carry and store.
We live in an old farmhouse where some of my kitchen appliance will pop a breaker if it uses too much electric and I was a little nervous about this being too much for our outlets but we had no problems at all. It has never popped a breaker and I have been using it quite a lot, like almost daily, and I haven't notice really any change in our electric bill at all.

Quality Bargain : Compact yet Powerful Dehydrator
I wanted to make a homemade jerky for me and my fur babies. I already had a Walmart brand dehydrator and did an okay job and was looking for a better one and landed onto this model. I am so happy I made this purchase. Surprisingly it’s quiet and does a great job dehydrating! I haven’t tried any fruits yet but for chicken and pork it’s awesome. My fur babies do approve it ????. It also comes with manual and recipe. I only placed 4 racks but the dehydrator comes with 8 racks and fits all comfortably. It’s compact yet powerful. I would recommend.
Cyn1 : Makes perfect venison jerky!!
My husband was using my convection oven to dry his homemade venison jerky. MESSY!! He would get my oven sticky and messy and of course I'd have to spend an hour cleaning it! Now, he has his very own oven to mess up! The jerky was done faster than the oven, much easier to use for dehydrating and his jerky came out better then ever!!! I
It comes with an instruction book and a recipe book. It says it can even make yogurt! That's a nice feature I didn't know about. I may have to use HIS oven for drying fruit and making yogurt! There are many jerky recipes included in the book and that will be fun experimenting with different flavors.
The machine was very easy to operate (even for a man that doesn't like to read instructions) It is a very nice, professional looking machine that looks very well built and should last a very long time!
He was extremely happy with it..and so was I!!!
