Would this fit an Apple Pencil?

Answer: I don't believe it will. Might be too long to fit.

Answer: No, just tested it with a mid-sized 9mm Springfield XD-9 and couldn't close the pouch. Certainly wouldn't fit a larger model.

Answer: I doubt it may fit a compact. For a full size I would recommend the Chubby, that's what it is designed for.

how does this attach to my belt?

Answer: This pouch comes with two TacTie Polymer Joining Clips. These straps, or clips, allow you to create a belt loop. I don't use it that way, I just have mine in my Edgepeak EDC, but you certainly could.

I see that this attaches to a should strap however its hard for me to imagine how. I have a maxpedition gridflux. Would it attach to the slingstrap?

Answer: The DEP pouch is designed to attach to the Gridflux using the included polymer Tacties. They attach like any standard MOLLE/PALS webbing system to the bags laser cut hypalon webbing.

Answer: I have the gridflux as well and technically you could attach it to the sling strap but it would be rather awkward there I prefer to put it on the side opposite the water bottle holder

Answer: Yes it will.. if there is molle attachment, then yes.

Answer: I would agree with Thomas. The DEP comes with 2 PJC connectors and it would be awkward to only connect one. I'm able to connect it to my water bottle holder and my Sitka with ease.

What are the dimensions of the small pouch on the front?

Answer: The front pocket is 4.5 inches by 4.5 inches

Will an IPad mini fit in this case? Looks like the dimensions are very close, maybe a little too snug??

Answer: I do not know as I don’t have one. But it holds quite a bit I use it for my everyday mini bug out bag that I keep in my work bag. As for fit both my iPhone 6 and 7 fit in easy so if the IPad mini is close to a 7 then your golden.

What is this "other fibers" crap?

Answer: My guess would be that that is the composition of the non-woven nylon webbing components on the small front pouch and the back. Probably made of the new generation of very small spun fibers formed into sheets. Some high end motorcycle boots use an artificial fiber like this to make boots that highly resemble being made of leather but are far more durable and strong.

Answer: I have no idea what "other fibers crap" you are speaking of. This item, however is of the same great Maxpedition quality and build that those who know Maxpedition gear have come to expect of the brand. No "crap" included.

Would this fit a glock 19 or 43?

Answer: Definitely the 43 but probably a tight fit for the 19

How wide are the elasticated straps in the main compartment? Would like to carry two portable battery chargers (2.25" wide, 7/8" thick, 6.5" tall).

Answer: Unfortunately no. The pack overall is tight inside.

How long of a patch will fit on it? Thanks

Answer: The velcro loop field on the front of the pouch is approximately 3.25" x 2.0". So any patch longer than 3.25" would over hang the loop field.

Answer: probably not a good idea as it would likely mess up the waterproof coating, but why machine wash, its small, just spray it off with a garden hose and air dry, i use this every day and its awesome

Answer: On gentle, sure. I tumble dry on medium heat for 15-20min or just air dry.

Answer: You won’t damage it but you should be able to just wipe it down to clean it

Answer: I can fit a Taurus PT111 G2 with a second magazine and it just fits. The Bersa is longer but the height is shorter. It would be close. Hope this helps.

I love this pouch and use it to organize EDC gear. With my gear in this, I can easily move everything from bag to bag. I especially like that there is a smaller pouch in the front where you can put your smaller items which makes them a lot easier to locate with minimum hassle. They did a great job with all the pockets and elastic on the inside making it easy to secure items so they don't move around or get scratched up. I also find I can carry more than I expected without over stuffing the pouch. It has the quality Maxpedition materials we have all come to expect. Love this innovation and hoping to see more of it.

Good quality bag, but zippers are horrible. Too stiff, should not need 2 hands to open either of the 2 compartments, this drives me crazy,
additionally bag material is extremely inflexible, so yes it will last forever, but in my case because of lack of use.

As for this pouch its a little on the big side to wear on a belt but I'm going to try it anyway. It fits my fire starting kit, small first aid kit, and a cliff bar perfectly.

I was able to get a anker 20000 powercore inside with charging cables, plugs, a backup knife, lipbalm, my leatherman, a beard comb, 345 issues of playboy, a studio appartment, and an aircraft hanger for my F22 raptor.

I use this to carry extra stuff in. I haven't used it in rugged areas or stress tested it. But I can tell it's tough and strong. It's handy to keep in my backpack. It's waterproof too! No leaking into the pouch. I recommend it!

Like everything I have purchased from Maxpedition, the DEP is well designed and made from quality materials. I haven't settled on a use for this pouch yet, I bought it for my First Aid kit, but went back to my old pouch. I tried carrying my EDC items in it, which is nice, but I eventually ended up slimming things down until I had a system that fit totally in my pockets.
Regardless of these issues, which aren't really the fault of the pouch, I am pleased with this pouch.
