This item can vacuum soup based food?

Answer: After freezing the soup, use the vacuum machine, I remove the item from the container and then vacuum seal the frozen food.

What about the suction power? Is really good?

Answer: This is 80kpa suction, which is the newest version , of course it works really well. I've used to vacuum seal veggies. Awesome gadget to have.

Does this machine have a cutting blade on it as well?

Sous vide has been a passion/hobby of mine during this period, especially with summer coming up. This vacuum sealer is great at sucking the air out of the bag with steak, then sous vide for couple hours to put into BBQ for awesome steaks. You can do vegetables or fish with it too and it will come out great. Comes with some basic accessories to get started on the vacuum sealing journey. It will make your food last longer for better meals.
