will this work on a18 volt battery?

Answer: No, Rated input voltage is DC12-14V. It would burn very quickly on DC18V.

What is the Warranty?

Answer: We offer a two-year warranty on the 50W fishing light. It is hardly broken. There is thermal switch inside and the middle hollow design makes the LED working in pretty low temperature.

Does it need to be submersed to turn on? Just tried mine for the first time and it’s not working

Answer: It needs to be hooked up to a car battery or 12 volt battery of your choice and no it does not need to be in water to work it should light up as soon as you connect the neg and positive cables sorry to hear yours is not workingone is great caught fish with it already

Does the two year warranty also apply to the 30 watt model?

Answer: We offer a one-year warranty on the 30W version since there is no thermal switch inside. And it is difficult to tell whether it is broken by natural or misuse. For the 30W version, we suggest no more 30 seconds above water usage but it will be totally out of our control in everyone's practice. Anyway, if you use it underwater for regular use, the life of the light should be longer than anyone else. Thank you.

We set the light out and wait. It takes a while but you will notice bugs come first, then small minnows, then feeder fish and then you will notice fish all around.

Thought this light would be more durable and last longer than the others. I noticed that it wasn't as bright as it used to be. On further investigation it appears that the light exploded rendering all but one of the lights useless. I like the design though.

Burned out while testing it out in the bathtub with cold water. Didn’t even get a chance to try it out for fishing purposes. Used a standard 12v hobby battery and it started to flicker then go out on 2 of the sides. Might be a lemon but very disappointed
