will this work on a18 volt battery?

Answer: No, Rated input voltage is DC12-14V. It would burn very quickly on DC18V.

What is the Warranty?

Answer: We offer a two-year warranty on the 50W fishing light. It is hardly broken. There is thermal switch inside and the middle hollow design makes the LED working in pretty low temperature.

Answer: It needs to be hooked up to a car battery or 12 volt battery of your choice and no it does not need to be in water to work it should light up as soon as you connect the neg and positive cables sorry to hear yours is not workingone is great caught fish with it already

Does the two year warranty also apply to the 30 watt model?

Answer: We offer a one-year warranty on the 30W version since there is no thermal switch inside. And it is difficult to tell whether it is broken by natural or misuse. For the 30W version, we suggest no more 30 seconds above water usage but it will be totally out of our control in everyone's practice. Anyway, if you use it underwater for regular use, the life of the light should be longer than anyone else. Thank you.

Burned out while testing it out in the bathtub with cold water. Didn’t even get a chance to try it out for fishing purposes. Used a standard 12v hobby battery and it started to flicker then go out on 2 of the sides. Might be a lemon but very disappointed

I bought the 50w version, warm white. Supposed to put out 6000 lumens, but upon turning it on it's not as bright as a 25w 3450 lumen submersible led fishing light I have... I can't look my 25w led directly cause of the brightness, this 50w (what I purchased, not sure if it's what I received) I can look at directly with little discomfort. It's supposed to be almost twice as strong but so far I'm not seeing it, literally.

Was a little concerned at first as it was so small, just didn't seem heavy duty like the others we got (have a couple the 15$ 20watt ones). I ordered the straight white, but they sent the yellow white ( or warm white?) and it's obviously just a tad more yellow than the other white ones we have. Nonetheless, it's noticeable brighter. Id say it is amazingly bright for its small size. As long as it holds up, I think it will be a great value. We've got about 12 hours of usage so far and it's been great. I'd give it five stars but I don't want to junk myself ????
