D Velasquez : Bright lure perfect for bass fishing

The smallmouth bass around the lakes that I frequent are very picky but are attracted to large, bright, and visible lures, that is why I ordered the bright green color which is green on the sides with silver striping and orange on the bottom. I love getting new lures to add to my tackle box and trying them out to see what will work best and under what conditions. This double jointed lure has two sharp treble hooks and the bill in front for additional movement. It holds a good amount of weight for farther casting and appears to be quality made and resistant to abrasion. Good color and shape make the lure visible and I think I will get good results using this one. I recommend this double-jointed lure for bass or big trout.

I primarily bass fish and I’m always trying new lures to see if I can get an edge. This lure is very realistic and the paint job is high quality. No bass with it yet but it’s got a nice action in the water. I’ll keep using it.

This one does not have a wide wobble but can use for a jerk bait. It suspends. It only dives two to three feet from what I can tell but because it suspends you can use it like a jerk bait. Has a shad look even though it is gold. I can see catching schooling bass on this one. Has like a broken minnow. Good looking lure!

I’m conflicted, they definitely catch fish but the back half has broken off twice while fighting fish. Caught enough fish that I had to order more but if they keep snapping in half that will be the last time.
