IMPORTANT TIPS

1. The sealing width of sealing machine is 3.1inch, If the packaging bag is wider than3.1 inches and cannot be successfully sealed by one press, it needs to be sealed on both sides separately.

2. Do not use it for thin bag sealing (such as cling film, shrink wrap bags, cellophane bags), it is likely to melt the bags and cannot be sealed. Generally used for snack bags, Foil bag, chip bags, Kraft paper bag, Pet food bag, vacuum packaging bags etc.

3. It's not a hair straightener or curling iron, it just looks similar.. Please don't use it to straighten or curl your hair to avoid damage to your hair.

4. Do not touch the heating pad when using it, keep away from children and avoid burns.

5. Do not heat for a long time, please turn off the power button in time when not in use to avoid burning the heat sealer. Your safety and satisfaction is our main concern!

NOTE:

We recommend that you turn off the power after the sealer has been heated for 40-60 seconds, after turning off the power, you can still use the temperature that it has not dissipated to seal the bags. Will this work on bags of salad?

Answer: I just tested it on an iceberg lettuce salad bag and it worked. But it did not suitable for cellophane bags.

will this work in other countries? I mean what is the voltage? 240 volts included?

Answer: It seems that only 110v-220v can be used

Does it pull the air out of the bag?

Answer: Just use a straw to suck out the air. Then use this to reseal the snack bag.

Answer: No, it’s just a little sealer. All it does is seal the top, no air pulling.

Does it use batteries or plug into the wall?

Answer: You don’t need a battery, just plug it into a power outlet and you can use it. I use it to seal my nail polish stickers. The effect is very good.

Can the sealing machine be folded and stored?

Answer: Yes, I have tried it can be folded and stored, the sealing machine has a switch for folding storage

Can this seal poly bags?

Answer: It seals snack bags and chip bags great...but thin bags it melts.

Does this hold a charge?

Answer: You have to plug it in

Can this be used as a flat iron as well?

Answer: Nope. The heater won’t lay flat. It is meant to clamp down.

Answer: Definitely not! It is way too hot I only use for resealing my color street nail bags. Not even sure if it’s too hot for regular plastic bags. Please don’t buy for your hair!

Answer: No. It creates too much heat for a zip lock bag. Likely would melt it.

Answer: Yes, it does but you can't let the sealer machine heat up too long.

Will it work to seal a bag a dog food?

Answer: Yes，l tried is useful that you can ensure that the dog food gets well dried, and avoid spilling.

Can you seal a lettuce bag

Answer: Yes you can.

Answer: If you do it quickly, should work. The sealing area isn’t very large but it does seal.

Will these work on Mylar bags?

Answer: Yes they will work on mylar bags, however the cord on it is really short. Only about two to three feet of course length, so it's awkward holding it

What is the difference in the two black variations?

Answer: I don’t know what the difference is the one I got works very well but you got to be careful what kind of plastic you use it on. I tried on a thinner plastic and it burned it. You can call and ask the manufacture. Sorry I couldn’t answer your question.

Answer: I believe it’s the size and more features on it. Something about the buttons/locking feature. Also I think it plugs in instead of battery.

This is great to close small bags but it’s like a hair crimper. Twice I only held it on the bag for seconds and it melted through the bag. I think with time I’ll figure it out as it’s easy enough to use but will see how many bags I go through to figure the timing out.

This product works. Its the same basic design as a mini hair straightener (or more like a crimper) and heats up quickly. I tried it on a stiffer plastic bag first and then tried it on a bag of pizza rolls that were in the freezer. I found that you have to pay attention to the amount of time you press it for depending on the type of bag you are resealing.

The bonus that I hadn’t realized I would have with this is the ability to cut down the bags to save space!

I just wish I had more items to try it out on right now.

We have a bigger food saver unit but this smaller one is more handy for everyday use. It heats up quick and only takes pressing down really quickly one time to properly reseal your items.
