Answer: Check with the supplier, I bought mine so long ago I've discarded the literature that came with it. I've used these sheets for dehydrating juicy items such as tomato slices and fruit leathers. I've been entirely pleased with this function.

Answer: They are made of some sort of rubber - easy to clean - durable. I love them!

Answer: These are flat sheets with no lip. If the sauce is thick, you could try putting chopsticks or small dowels under the edges to give it a slight lift at the edges.
Answer: Three are two different options, the edge has a lip, the flat does not.
Answer: No lip, I just leave a good inch or so around the edge and havent had any issues! Thes mats are amazing!

Answer: I don't know what smell you are trying to remove, but other than what you have already tried...i suggest lemon and salt. Scrub, and soak, then rinse. Hope that works!

Mine arrived with a very minor, "new product" smell, but nothing extreme. I gave them a short soak in hot water, baking soda, and white vinegar before using them the same day.
I'm happy with the quality. The silicone is thick and consistent when held up to a light. The edges are rigid and just tall enough for making fruit leathers and dehydrating gravy, bone broth (so far). The bottom is not rigid enough to be self-supporting with a liquid on it; you'll still want to place a solid tray underneath.
These are easy to clean post-use, either by hand washing or dishwasher. Mine have not held onto any residual smells as associated with what they were last uses for.

I'm not really sure why you'd want to use this with the dehydrator, it was recommended when I bought mine, so I got them and compared to dehydrating without the sheets, the end result is so much better without them. But they are a great product and do what they're supposed to buy keeping the machine clean.

Used in my Dehydrator so my veggies and fruit won't drop or leak through. Most of the time, I use them for making fruit roll-ups and they peel right off. Other times, used on the bottom shelves for items that get very tiny as they dehydrate and keeps them from dropping to the bottom. After I wash them, I drape them over a pasta/clothes rack to dry, or put them back in the dehydrator to dry for a bit if it's not busy drying other stuff. I've also used them to bake cookies in a regular oven and they worked for that, too.
