Can the bags be recycled?

Answer: I can cut them open take what I want out and reseal them with my Food Saver. I believe they can be reused but feel it’s according to what you had in them and what you are going to put in them. I use them for for things I put in the freezer. I’m retired and definitely not rich but feel they are priced where I don’t have to reuse them. If you mean taking them to a recycle plant to be melted and made into something else I’m sure they can be.

What temperature can these withstand?

Answer: Amasoo vaccum sealer rolls are available for sous vide, microwave, steam, boil and refrigerator. It withstands 100 ℃ (212 ℉) more than 24 hours.

where are these manufactured?

Are these bags embossed on both sides inside?

Answer: One side of the vacuum sealer bag is embossed with patented vacuum channels, the other side is smooth so that you can see the food inside clearly.

Answer: No only on one side, but the product works as advertised. Used over 50' and all packs sealed.

How Thick are they?

Answer: The thickness of the clear side is 3.5 mil and the embossed side is 4 mil. It is a right thickness to provides protection from sharp items meanwhile get a good and secure seal.They are heavy duty textured vacuum bag rolls.

I have issues with the food saver brand getting holes from beef jerky sharp edges. Are these thicker and more durable?

Answer: I have used both brands and the thickness seems the same. These are 3.5 mils thick. Not sure what Food Saver are.

Are the bags biodegradable?

Answer: I’m not sure. It’s doesn’t say anything on the box about that. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help but they are compatible to to the food savers bags I use to buy for less money.

What foods cannot be vacuum sealed?

Answer: Foods containing anaerobic bacteria cannot be vacuum sealed: mushrooms, garlic, seafood, and soft cheeses, such as brie, camembert, ricotta, and other soft and unpasteurized cheeses.

These work as a good replacement for the Foodsaver-branded bags. The only thing I miss, which is a small thing, is the marks along the edges that I used to determine how long to make the bag.
