Does this net have a flat bottom?

Answer: No, it does not have a flat bottom, it is tapered. Great net though, I own 3 different sized Stowmaster nets.

Answer: NO..but very easy to stow and keep out of the way on your boat until needed.

If you are someone who thinks having a big net in the boat is a hastle to work around this is the net for you. You need not deploy the net prior to needing it! Roll the net in your hands and pull and it is deployed, locket and ready to land you next trophy! (Or small fish bigger than your buddys!) Quality construction, I would buy it again.
