Does this knife have a lock to hold the blade in place while opened?

Answer: Yes it does. Very easy to use. I recommend this knife.

Is the blade flexible?

Answer: Yes it is, however, not as much as a thinner blade. It seems to function well.

Answer: I press the middle top against the counter to open the knife. After a while it gets easier to open.
