Thread the fishing bead and lure bodies into the shaft first.	Then put in the clevises and colorado blades. Spacer beads can reduce friction around clevis and help it spin more smoothly.	Finally, bend the other end of the wire and put on the treble hook. Make a loop to secure the hook.

Northwestbankfishing : Not great but not bad directions would be nice

This is my first time making spinners so I'm definitely new to this but they should definitely provide instructions it comes with nothing but the box no instructions at all & I've watched multiple youtube videos and they haven't helped much. Nothing to attach the hooks with no split rings nothing. Everything that was in the pictures came In the box everything is very small these would be great for trout & kokanee and other small fish the quality of the blades are decent but the hooks are pretty cheap.

The delivery was on time except it took longer to get from the shipper once it arrived in Bogota than it it did to get to my apartment ( maybe Covid restrictions ) The blades are beautifully finished and well plated. The beads and bodies are pretty but very tiny (l am not fishing in my goldfish bowl ) but they should work well where we fish for trout. l have made spinners before so l had an idea as to what to do but for beginners instructions, a picture or a diaphragm of a completed lure might be helpful. lf you haven't made a wire loop before it could get frustrating. All l need now is some hungry fish. lf you have access to the internet search "Made in Wisconsin Mepps factory tour" and watch a woman make a spinner in 4 seconds, it took us 45 minutes.
Update: Got my spinner making down to 15 minutes, 5 to make the spinner and 10 searching the floor for the parts l drop. Since l bought a crank bait kit too l use some of the decal material to dress up the spinners.
The Froggy Flatfish and Mad Maxeral are painted with nail polish then three coats of Rust-Oleum Ultra Cover were applied, use the formula that is non yellowing with UV protection.
Working on these is very therapeutic, since l started staying up late doing this my wife has fewer headaches.
#2 Update it is easy/peasy as 1,2,3. (1) Pick and decorate a spinner Body (2) Pick and decorate a spinner blade (3)Pick a hook (Careful they are SHARP) put them together and you have a DIY Spin bait.....
