Answer: Not sure as I do not use fly rod....but works perfectly for regular rods.

Answer: I think if you removed the leader and used a heavy weight rod they will work well Never tried on fly rod only on light spinning tackle. Will have to give it a try.

Answer: They come with metal leader set up which would make them unfit for Fly rod use. Stick with Gulp for flyrod use would be my guess.

Answer: They come with a short metal leader which would have to be removed for use for fly fishing, assuming too that you will be using at least 7 weight tackle as the lure is on the heavy side for fly use. On the ones I received the hooks were very dull and required sharpening to be of use. Take a look at the "Vudu" shrimp lures.

Answer: For me, I let drop to bottom then jerk every so often and take some line in then repeat! Works for me, caught speckled trout, flounder, and redfish!

Answer: You shouldn’t need a weight assuming that you throw it under a popping cork... I would think that an egg sinker between half-ounce up to an ounce would get the bait down fast enough assuming you’re not fishing for really deep fish.

Answer: It comes with a steel leader ,I cut it off, I use light tackle and throw it just as it is with out weight. Let it sink slow and give it a twitch every few seconds. Slower retrieve the better. Trout And Reds in Fla gulf coast love these.

If I didn't know these were artificial plastic lures, I would try and make them into an etouffee. No, seriously, these are very life like looking and rigged in such a way that I am certain fish won't be able to resist taking a chomp out of them only to find the hook for their troubles. Going fishing in Matagorda Bay off Texas Coast next month and will try them out instead of buying buckets of live shrimp. Will give an update to the review after the results then.
