This is simple to use and makes for so much more room in my freezer, Can wrap almost anything Meat/pasties etc I also write the dates on the plastic with a sharpie pen so I know what one to eat first going by latest dates. Would recommend ????

Bought this item to mainly vacuum pack meat that we buy in bulk. Item was really easy to unpack and instructions were straight forward. Managed to unpack and have the first item vacuum sealed in less than 5 minutes.
The backs that came with it were good quality and the tear strips on the side is a bonus. We vacuum packed 40kg of meat and it took just over 30 minutes. Obviously ran out of the bags that came with the vacuum sealer. Used replacement roles that we ordered at the same time. They weren't as good as the bags that came with the machine, but still worked without any issues.
Overall happy with the machine and the results are exactly what we needed and expected.

My freezer is completely full of the Morrisons wonky veg range (cause it's dirt cheap) that I've diced up myself, price for price you get twice as much for your money, and it's fresher! - I also prepare meals for my grandmother who is 90 and can say for sure that it will eliminate freezer burn, works great on fresh food too. Just make sure that you get the list of veg that you CAN'T vaccum seal and you're set.

It's very slow and the vacuum is weak. Vacuum packed up working August 21, lasted 9 months. it still seals but all that does is seal the moisture in the bag .

I've tried a number of different vacuum sealers over the last few years, and I can say that most all of them work exactly the same, and typically have the same basic features. This particular sealer does not stand out from the rest in any way.
The sealer provides all of the same basic functions: Dry Vac/Seal, Moist Vac/Seal, Seal Only, and Cancel. This unit also provides a hose and connector to use with most vacuum seal cannisters, and with a separate button to control this function. The sealer will seal up to a 12-inch wide bag, or gallon-sized bag. There's no internal storage for rolls of bag material, but a bag cutter is provided under the lid.
Sealing a bag is simple as filling the bag with your food product, placing the open lip of the bag into the tray area in the sealer, then closing and latching the sealer. If you're sealing a dry or relatively dry product, press the Dry VacSeal option... if the product is wet, like a soup or sauce, chose the Moist VacSeal option. The system will then extract the air from the bag and will create a seal.
What I found when I compared this sealer to other similar products was that the vacuum pump wasn't as powerful or as quick to extract the air from the bag, nor did it remove as much air as other sealers. Since the major purpose of the system is to create an air-tight vacuum around your food product, I feel that the product I tried lacked enough power to do the job well. Given other reviews, perhaps the particular unit I received was somewhat defective, but I have no means to ascertain that.
Based upon my experience, and given all of the variables and options available, I feel that there are other products available for less money that outperform this particular device.

Cut down the bags to a good size and it uses pressure and a heat strip to seal ANYthing! We've already sealed pork chops, steaks, and newly-made chili in smaller, dinner-sized portions. The plastic will be thicker than conventional bags or plastic and without air, will keep foods safely ready for much, much longer (steak can freeze for a year!).
See my picture: we are putting up chili. We just missed having this to preserve the garden's fresh herbs for this season. Bags are available on Amazon, too but this comes with 10; you'll want to rolls to make them yourself easily. The unit has a zip cutting line to keep your bags straight-cut without problems. Very fast to compress and seal and just label 'em. Impressed? YES! Small unit works like a miracle. Compare to retail versions: same system and well-made!

For the price it does a great job. First time using one of these and after trial and error I am able to get perfect suction and seal. Key is make sure bag is aligned straight and correctly and it will work great. The cutter on this isn't that great and will probable get a better cutter to cut bags from rolled bags. This vacuum sealer would be better to use with precut ready bags like ones that are included. Overall very satisfied and fills my need.

I am happy with this food saver. The machine itself is light weight and seems to have decent suction. I vacuumed some left over turkey and I am happy I don’t see any air pockets. It sealed the bag easily all in one step. It has a removable tray to take out to clean when liquid spills into it, which makes me very happy! It also has a bag cutter built in that may come in handy. I haven’t had one that does that so I’m not use to it yet. It also came with a tube that I haven’t tried yet. All in all this seems like a good food saver.

Additionally, I tried it on some of my husbands fish that he just brought home from a fishing trip and this is going to be the way I store ALL my meat going forward. So much space has been save in my freezer its insane! Can't wait to start going through my fridge :)

Really liked the sealer but after just a few months the automatic suction / sealer ceased to work. Reported this to Amazon, they contacted the seller but they never responded. Thankfully Amazon have given a full refund.

In all, it is a nice machine to have one in your kitchen. Also, it can be used to seal a jar. It is pretty cool.
NinerFan : No Vacuum Tank Included
I was not able to vacuum seal anything, because the box did not contain a vacuum tank. It included the vacuum hose, but not the tank. The instructions manual, which by the way is not clearly written, shows a picture of a vacuum tank being connected to the vacuum tank lid. This picture is under the heading “How to Use the Vacuum Seal with Accessories (Vacuum Tank, Storage Bag)”. I was able to do the basic seal of a bag without any problems. But that’s about it. I can’t recommend this vacuum sealer.
Addendum: 12/20/2020:
Well, egg on my face. I finally figured out how to use the vacuum sealer after my husband took a look at it. It vacuum seals just fine. The suction is good. I will now upgrade it to 4 stars. The manufacturer contacted me and stated the vacuum tank is not included.

Cut down the bags to a good size and it uses pressure and a heat strip to seal ANYthing! We've already sealed pork chops, steaks, and newly-made chili in smaller, dinner-sized portions. The plastic will be thicker than conventional bags or plastic and without air, will keep foods safely ready for much, much longer (steak can freeze for a year!).
See my picture: we are putting up chili. We just missed having this to preserve the garden's fresh herbs for this season. Bags are available on Amazon, too but this comes with 10; you'll want to rolls to make them yourself easily. The unit has a zip cutting line to keep your bags straight-cut without problems. Very fast to compress and seal and just label 'em. Impressed? YES! Small unit works like a miracle. Compare to retail versions: same system and well-made!
