Answer: I looked at the photo of a Reynolds bag sealer on line, and if it has a hole where you place the vacuum, the answer is NO....I had a zip loc system like that, which seems more like what you are looking for.

I guess you can also cut the bags long ways, seal the cut side and make two long tubes for storing hot dogs or other tube things.

I received these rolls today, and they are not very much different than the Food Saver Product. They maybe and I mean maybe slightly thiner than the Food Saver rolls, but for the price you can go wrong. The sealed nicely and you can write on the edges with a sharpie, They are made in China, but then again the Food Saver Machines and bags/rolls are also made in China. So I bought 2 Food Saver rolls 8"x20' for $19.99 and purchased 2 Bonsen kitchen rolls 8"x50' for $18.99. So for what we use them for they seem to be a good product at a Great Price.

These bags are almost as good as the real thing... but not quite. For whatever reason they are harder to heat seal than Foodsaver brand, and they are harder to feed into the seal slot. But all in all, they get the job done for a much lower price. Once sealed, the food stays properly sealed and frost free in the freezer, and they hold up well using them for sous vide machines.

These are the bags you want.
I’ve tried several and there’s no suction or long term leaks or you have to fuss with the edge to get it to work.
There are some small wrinkles in the rolls BUT NO PROBLEM.
If you have a food saver you’ll understand when I tell you this. When you start the seal process, the bag immediately sucks in tight and the sound of the vacuum quickly revs right up along with the green lights then a quick seal.
That’s the sound of a good seal and a good deal. Makes sense. These are commercial kitchen grade. They want consistent performance and little waste.
Not as thick as the original, but better than any other alternative to name brand and plenty for any kitchen task.

This review is for the 8x12 bags. The bags were advertised as "Heavy Duty" but they are not. Other bags I have ordered from this manufacturer listed as heavy duty are textured on one side and smooth on the other, no problem sealing those. These bags are thin and smooth on both sides. I have a Food Saver that is only 2 months old and can seal other bags so it is not my unit. I returned these for a refund.
