This small and convenient kit has all i need to attach my own lures, spinners and baits. The case is compact, and durable. Most little kits come with a cheap case with lids that don't stay closed, but this case stays closed and secure. I am extremely happy with this purchase.

I bought this as a gift for a friend of ours who likes to go fishing. I am pleased with the case being a hard plastic and being able to hold all that comes with it. There are a lot of pieces in this set. I don't know a lot about fishing, so I am hoping this has useable stuff. I went off of this being highly rated. However, when it arrived there was a large sticker on the front that said made in China and it just reminded me of products that people will give away for free for reviews. So, I am really hoping that is not the case and the pieces in this set will hold up well. I did stop at the store and buy some other fishing stuff to go with this since this was a lot smaller than expected. It looks quite a bit bigger in pictures.

there is an awful lot of product packed into a little case. It is not a tackle box, more like something an adult would put into a pocket. There are individual slots in it so everything is separated. I was looking for something for a child. This is not it.

I really like this kit. The case is the only reason I didn't give it a 5. It's a great concept but needed better execution. If latch was on each side with a rubber seal I would even pay more for this kit. Either way I just put a piece of cardboard in between and all the other pieces are awesome.

Fun little portable tacklebox with lots of great stuff inside! Can’t speak to durability yet but there’s a lot of great stuff inside the carrying case. My son was excited to try some of the different types of tackle and will keep using the case after he’s used up everything inside.

The hooks are sharp but the gear is small and the box isn't very durable. There are a couple of rigs we're unfamiliar with in there. Box is compact but you're only going to get a few uses out of it. Would recommend item for a limited space fish trip on freshwater (smaller-sized fish). Won't handle saltwater or big fish well. Recommended improvements would include and increase in the number of jig heads and re-usable crimp weights.

Went salt water fishing in Florida for an hour for fun with my new compact fishing kit and caught a sheep head with the jig hook, but threw it back in the water. This kit is a great mini tackle box at low price. 187PCs is more than enough to catch your dream fish! Excellent product.

This is a great assortment of terminal tackle, but the illustration shows that “40” floats or bobbers are included, but there are 6- (I was wondering how they’d get 40 in that box!) but it looks good for me. I haven’t fished in years and lots of the items are “new to me” even though I grew up fishing, but haven’t in about 15 years.
It’s got 90% of what you’ll need to get going and adapt to different conditions.

First off I really liked the overall set. What would one use this set for? A great example would be for a family fishing outing. This set provides everything you need for a new to fishing family. It also has some great deals for a season veteran. I find myself new to fishing and many of my experienced friends liked aspects of the set. My only complaints would be the night beads and the split rings.

The big plus is the hooks and the quality weights. I love the quality and sharpness of these hooks. This is a great starter set and will last me many trips. The jigs on this set are comparable to ones you would see at a big box store. They are not bad quality but average. The set does seem small when you first unbox it. This set at this price is a total buy. Once again Amazon provided a great product.

This is a perfect starter kit for adults or children. Has just about everything you would need to get you up and fishing in no time. The case it comes in seams to be built pretty solid and the plastic cover on the inside covering each compartment are easy to open and stay shut without issue.
I would recommend this kit be used for fishing for fish on the smaller side like Bass, Trout, Blue Gill etc. You would need bigger hooks and sinkers for larger fish.
Pair this with a fishing pole and it would be a great birthday or Christmas gift for someone.

Overall the kit is a great value and everything seems decent. So why the low stars? Two reasons:

I received 4 weights of equal size and weight, and figured that there had been a mistake. I emailed the seller, who responded quickly that although the appearance of the weights are the same, they are in fact different weights. If this is the case, why does the product photo clearly show differing sizes of weights?

Secondly, the hardware seems to be zinc coated and has flaked off in various spots without much handling at all. Not sure about the metal underneath actually being stainless steel either - I will update once it has seen some saltwater.

Again, I think the value here is great, but I just hate the false advertising and will try to steer away from this seller in the future.

After posting my two star review, the seller reached out and offered to refund me or send me another item. I asked for just $2 to buy bigger weights and the seller obliged, so I am updating this to 4 stars.

You're getting a whole lot here in a small package love the case it fits easily into my tackle box everything that comes in the accessory kit is well made but my only concern is with the plastic see-through covers for the individual compartments I'm afraid they're going to wear out from open and closing them to much and eventually break

I really like the plastic slider Tees that come in this kit. I used them to rig up a complicated carp baitcage feeder and hair rig hook system, and attached a 1 oz sinker to the tees. It also includes some nice bobber stoppers, and the hooks are OK. Unfortunately all the hooks are offset worm hooks. Would be nice to have some drop shot finesse hooks in the kit too.

For me, this is a good lesson to pay attention to the description, measurements, and reviews before putting something in the cart. I really can't blame the seller as this is just as described, but if I had done my due diligence, I never would have purchased this. It's cheap and a really poor value. Again, the seller did nothing wrong, but it's not worth more that $10

There is so much inside this little box, it is amazing! This is perfect to carry in the vehicle or on the bike; it takes up very little space but has everything needed to catch some fish (except the pole, of course). I just take a pack of soft plastics and I’m ready to fish in any little pond or stream I come across!

This is a great kit for the price. There's a ton of fishing gear here to help the new fisher start building their own tackle. The hooks are sharp, but not razor sharp. They should still do the trick. I do love the container. I feel like it's small size and various storage sections make a great mini table box for taking on quick outings (or just keeping in the your vehicle to be ready whenever)

The package came damage with looks of the plastic being bended a lot. Some of the connectors were bent most likely this was a bad patch. I would not consider this to be a kit for saltwater with waves the sinkers are way to light. It comes with bells and looks which you don't really need. The hooks are nice part especially the weighted ones. For the price I could just get good hooks and premade hooks for the same price. I would not buy again. This is more for small river and lake fishing nothing for ocean front.
3 stairs because it does have nice amount of stuff but it coming damage with bad parts is a big mistake. Needs quality control.

Scott Wells : Nice compact terminal tackle kit

Topfort has put together a really nice terminal tackle kit with jig heads, EWG hooks, split shot sinkers, colored beads, swivels, etc., all in a surprisingly compact carrying case. In fact, I'm looking forward to loading up the carrying case even after I exhaust the original contents because it's such a nice form factor.

I received the kit just before a short trip to the Gulf and decided to use it while fishing from the rental house boat dock. So far I've primarily been using the split shot and the hooks because I'm mostly using shrimp and cut squid as bait, though I did rig up one of the jig heads with a Gulp curly tail and caught a nice redfish on it. I've been catching reds, black drum, large croaker, (one) speckeled trout, a ton of saltwater cats, a toadfish (freaky!), and even some large crabs. The tackle has held up wonderfully well, and again, it's such a nice compact packaging that it's simple to have with you all the time.

The only negative I see--and it's a VERY small one--is that the split shot isn't the type that can be re-opened once clamped down. Having said that, it does the job nicely.

This would be a really nice kit for someone just starting to build out a tackle box, though it's been an equally nice complement to my existing set of terminal tackle.

if you had any intention on using this gear for the ocean forget it, it all rusts instantly. Hooks are literally flimsy, and nothing big enough to catch any reasonable sized fish. Its like a severely over complicated kids tackle box and would not recommend to any serious angler.

The organization of this box is well though out however the dividers easily pop out and the latch could easily pop open inside of a bag during transport or in a boat running in rough water. The lanyard hook vould easily bend egen hung so I removed it and tied the cord on with a knot. The variety of items is good but if a few mini grubs and mini rings for lure assembly were added this would be an even better kit. The inclusion of a glow jig head is a nice surprise. Overall this is a nice compact fishing kit that will get more use.

I myself am a beginner fishermen, so I wouldn't know good tackle from bad at this point. However, the case, lures, hooks, etc. all seemed to be of decent quality and perfectly serviceable. I'll obviously update this review once I've actually used the contents. My lower ratings on durability and giftable are due to a) this is a "cheap and cheerful" item, so I wouldn't expect the case or its contents to have an especially long service life; and b) I think this would be a great gift for a beginner fisherman, but doubt it would be well rec'd by a true/veteran enthusiast.

Good things come in small packages! It's hard to believe how many fishing tackle accessories they were able to pack into this little case which is less than 4'' x 5'' (see photos). I'm a casual fisherman so there's everything I need for my freshwater fishing trips and then some. We're past the primary fishing season right now so I haven't been able to try much but everything is good quality and will more the meet my needs!
