Answer: I think it means that the heating strip used to seal the bags could withstand 40 consecutive seals without failing. In practice, you would never do this - you seal one bag at a time with a single command - it wouldn't make sense to press the seal button 40 times in a row.

Answer: Due to the heat generated using vacuum sealers some units require a cool down after 20 30 etc. Bags . This unit can vac n seal 40 consecutive without a cool down

Answer: It means you can seal up to 40 bags, one right after the other, without having to pause for a couple of minutes to let it cool off.

Alternately, I use a hand held system called "Vacu-Vin" that works just fine and sold in most wine shops. Either method will only gain you a couple more days until your wine starts deteriorating...I work in the wine industry.

Answer: I’d do a search on Amazon. Most rubber stoppers that use a hand wine pump will work. I tried my vacuum sealer with mine and worked fine. Although easier to buy a wine pump with stoppers vs dragging out your vacuum sealer.

You simply place one end of suction hose over hole on jar top attachment and it sucks out air and seals jar. Works great. Foodsaver jar attachments work not sure of other brands. Included hose also works with foodsaver resealable bags. win win!

Answer: I’m a new user of the Koios Vacuum Sealer, but I did use the part of the bag that I had cut off and sealed one end, filled it with the food I wished to seal next, and was able to vacuum and seal with the left over part. This being said, I would guess that you would be able to do the same thing with your 50 foot roll of vacuum bags.

Answer: There is no internal roll holder. You will need to use the cutter to cut the bag to the size you want, seal one end of the bag, fill it, then seal the other end.

This is my first experience with a kitchen vacuum sealer. I have previously purchased Koios products and have been pleased, so I thought I'd give the vacuum sealer a try,
Instructions are a little vague for a newby, but I easily figured out how to operate it. Very compact unit that easily fits in a kitchen drawer. I was quite surprised at the amount of vacuum strength and drawdown speed. The cutting blade on the top is quite sharp and very handy to use. Sealing effectiveness is also very good.
Koios provides a few bags with the product, which allowed me to use it right away!
I don't have any other vacuum sealer devices to compare it to, but I'm very pleased with the compactness, ease of operation, performance and build quality of this unit. Highly recommended.

I have always wanted a vacuum sealer because it's such a spacing saving feature for leftover food in my fridge. The instructions were super easy to follow. You put your food in the pouch, place it in the sealer, and wait about 30 seconds. I love how compact this vacuum sealer is! I love how it can be easily stored away in almost any drawer when I'm not using it. The instructions are easy to understand, it comes with everything you need to get started, including some bags. The built in cutter is handy. I like the fact there is a paperless manual and a physical one that comes with it, less for me to keep track of! Overall this is a great value for a compact appliance. I had a huge issue with freezer burn and this thankfully solved that!

I’ve got this just two weeks ago and already used it many times! I can’t believe I didn’t buy this earlier. I’ve sealed raw meat, fish and etc, as I like to have a frizzer stocked with the food.
The sealer works perfectly itself, it just takes a seconds to vacuum the air out from the bag and seal it. It is easy to use. It comes with bags already, but you definitely need to buy some more, as it’s only 15 bags included.
Also it has been made from a good material and it looks expensive.
this is also great for getting rid of air from containers to keep cooked foods fresh for longer too! this was a big plus as its completely changed the way i am able to store food.

Randal Parker : Great value without quality sacrifice!

We have had our food saver for a couple years and recently it has started to loose power. This was a much more budget friendly replacement. The difference between the 2 as far as speed is negligible. The actual vacuum seal works great, the ability to line up the bag inside the channel is super nice. this will actually work much better for marinades or anything with liquid as well since the clamshell design makes it easier to clean out. The fact that the top click locks into place makes it super easy to use as far as getting the placement right. With our old machine you had to slide the bag in until the sensor figured out something was present. There were a lot of failed attempts where we were basically just pushing and pulling he bag trying to get it to catch. Obviously the size difference is a huge plus and the fact that doesn’t have to be a permanent counter accessory is great. As is with most people we deal with counter space real estate issues constantly. Our vacuum sealer gets a lot of use, but this will allow us to have a lot of counter back for something else and still be able to vacuum seal without hassle. So far I am very pleased and look forward to years (10 at least) of use. I will post a follow up review after a couple months of solid use.

This is the second vacuum sealer I have owned. This one is the same width as my other but only half the depth, so easier to store. I like the bag slicer being on the top of the sealer. My old one has it inside and the lid always closes as I try to cut the bag. It has the standard sealer functionality. I packaged several items today, and none had any air pockets or other issues. So far I am very pleased. After packaging everything I need to for this winter I will update with anything new.
I also own a KOIOS immersion blender that has been fantastic. Can't go wrong with this brand.

I was sick of saran wrapping and tin foiling my foods. This is a saver for sure! Plus my food will last longer. The machine comes with an attachment to remove air from bottles as well. I don't know if I will be using that honestly. The kit comes with come some saver bags but I will definitely be purchasing more! Very simple to use. It reminds me of my laminator in a sense except it does not pull the bag/item in but just closes and seals it. There is an option to vacuum and seal or just seal in case you needed to resize the bags. Definitely recommend!

Oh my! This is great! Better then I expected! Suction power works and is strong. I put 4 small pork chops into small size cut bag and it handled it. Pictures will show the suction and meats in packages. At the time that I’m putting this review up, I’ve haven’t used the can vacuum sealing function. Sorry. Honestly I’ve never needed to do that but this Koisos Vacuum Sealer came with a hose/tubing to seal up canned/jarred liquids. It came with 10 bags. 5 big and 5 med./small bags. I did not realize that at first so I ended up cutting 3 big bags instead of just the one to test how the sealing function itself is. Oops. My fault. There are 4 functions to this; vacuum seal, just seal the end of a bag/plastic, liquid canister vacuum seal/seal, and cutting. I love that I can do all of that with this Koisos that it takes up hardly no room. It’s compact. In the box I got a 3 year warranty with it, instruction manual, extra foam striping, plug in, 5 BIG bags, 5 med/small bags and the liquid seal tubing. So much in a compact box. I received this a day early as well plus received a picture of the shipping box at my door. The lid pushes closed and clicks so that you know that you have the lid shut on right and tight. It’s touch screen on the top to pick what function you want to use and the cutter/slicer is on top as well. Just lay down your bag and slide the sliding lever over it and you have your custom sized bags instead of 1 bag. (Don’t forget to seal one end of the custom bags since now both sides are open.) in my pictures you’ll see how I cut a bag and then used the seal function to still use the end I cut off as another smaller bag. The touch controls are extremely sensitive. You barely touch it and it turns on/function starts. Extremely easy to work. You pull up the lid, lay the end of the bag at chamber, (which is described in manual. Make sure you don’t cover the vacuum tiny hole tube which is also described and shown in manual) close the lid and snap down to hear the click, Touch the function you want, and the buttons light up with a light timer that once the lights stop going, you know it’s finished, (you’ll see that in my pictures as well) and then you press the release buttons on each side of the Koisos vacuum sealer to lift lid up and grab your vacuum sealed item. When vacuum sealing you do hear it, but it’s not loud and is very fast. Takes just a few seconds and is done. Very powerful for size and can do so much. My family and I are massive meat eaters and this is the best thing in the world for me to save space in my freezer. It allows me to put a family meal portion together in one sealed spot so I can just pull it out and not have to worry about defrosting all meat and I don’t have to worry about freezer burn or nasty meat from sealing in ziplock or having left over stuck plastic wrap on my meat. Has kept my meat extremely nice and in place in my freezer. ALSO big tip. Do NOT overfill your bag. That’s a given. Can’t really pull out all the air if everything’s super stuffed and you can’t really set and put the tip of the bag into the vacuum sealer properly either. I know that’s a given, but still there will be those people out there that will over stuff and complain when it’s their own user fault. I have a video here of it working as well. It sounds way louder on the phone then what it actually does sitting in front of me. It does make noise but in no way is it that loud or honestly loud at normal. My phone picks up massive background noise and it turned that machine into a monster sound that it doesn’t actually make. Lol I noticed the extra speaker sound when I watched my video because I’m embarrassed about my talking. BUY THIS ITEM! It will not disappoint. This is my favorite kitchen item now and one of my most helpful. I’m so happy I finally got one after years of wanting and needing one!

This product works so well and easy! I vacuum sealed tomatoes from the garden. I placed them in the bag and put the bag in the machine. Then I hit the Food button for moist and then hit the Vac Seal button. Done!

does a good job suctioning air
good seal
has wet food and dry food options
has an accessory option
you don't need to push hard, like some types, to get the suction and seal. you just lock it on the sides and let it work.
they provide an additional rubber part to replace existing one down the line which is awfully considerate!

Though this is a con, it is not a pro, either: it takes a few seconds before it starts sealing, which makes sense - functionally, and is something that is true across all three of my devices

Cons:
instruction manual could be better. it took me a while to figure out that I had to push on the sides and make them click before it can work well. there are use instructions but could use some more
I have a small one that has a wonderful quality that I now crave which is that it has a magnet and can be stuck on the fridge or microwave. The problem is this smaller one is harder to use and not as effective

MamaMia : No more freezer burn!

I love having frozen meat stored for easy use, but hate the freezer burn taste it sometimes gets. I try to squeeze the are out of the bags when storing but finally decided to buy a vacuum, I’m glad I did! This sealer does a great job. It’s small, easy to use, and has great suction. So far I’ve sealed meat as well as fruit and everything tastes as it should with no freezer burn. I’m very happy with the purchase!

took a lot of force to close the top, suction power not very good, left a lot of air in the package, returned for refund. did get bags with the sealer so did not have to use mine. tried 10 bags and all were the same air in the bags.

Pulled it out of the box and successfully vacuum sealed 2 portions of leftovers. Took me only a few minutes from opening to putting it away.

We love Sam's Club because of the quality, but the quantity is overwhelming. We bought bulk and sealed them in smaller packages. This sealer is small but worked like a large one. Very easy to use and saves us money.

Wow. Best air vacuum I have tried yet! And I have gone through some as I'm always preparing more than I need so I freeze for future quick meals. It's fast and easy to use and comes with a replacement rubber so I keep it in the box and it takes almost no space compared to other models I had. Not fancy but it does the job.

This one is no exception. Though the instructions could be clearer, there are a few simple buttons up top, and it's a great size for storage. It comes with everything you need but I most like that there is a 10 year warranty.

The vacuum hose attachment (see picture) is especially useful and nice to have for sous vide bags and other use cases!

Overall, great product for its price, it's been functioning well so far!

This vacuum machine is a essential in my opinion for any kitchen .
I love the simplicity of using it and it seems very durable and long lasting.

I cant stand to have fruit and/or meat go to waste in the fridge or freezer burnt
And this does just the trick for enhancing the longevity of any food.
I like the switch of different features for dry and moist modes
So say you have some foods that need to be marinated you could seal it for a no waste approach and if you don't need to cook it right away it makes good use to be able to meal prep on a later day
