Answer: I think it means that the heating strip used to seal the bags could withstand 40 consecutive seals without failing. In practice, you would never do this - you seal one bag at a time with a single command - it wouldn't make sense to press the seal button 40 times in a row.
Answer: Due to the heat generated using vacuum sealers some units require a cool down after 20 30 etc. Bags . This unit can vac n seal 40 consecutive without a cool down
Answer: It means you can seal up to 40 bags, one right after the other, without having to pause for a couple of minutes to let it cool off.

Included hose also works with foodsaver resealable bags. win win!

Answer: I’m a new user of the Koios Vacuum Sealer, but I did use the part of the bag that I had cut off and sealed one end, filled it with the food I wished to seal next, and was able to vacuum and seal with the left over part. This being said, I would guess that you would be able to do the same thing with your 50 foot roll of vacuum bags.
Answer: There is no internal roll holder. You will need to use the cutter to cut the bag to the size you want, seal one end of the bag, fill it, then seal the other end.

I left the bad review due to the vacuuming issue initially. A customer manager sent me a new one and it works very well. now I can store my coffee beans, Costco meats, and other food ingredients. Now I am satisfied with my purchase. so I would like to give a 5 review rate. But I rated 4 because I feel bad to put the old one in the trash bin and wasted lots of bags for trying with the old one) Overall, I like it. specially It is smaller compare to other sealer machines, so it is also good for a small kitchen.

I have been thinking of buyer a food sealer for sometime now but I didn't want to spend much on the high end sealers. I saw this had great reviews and had a discount coupon so I took a chance. This is my first food sealer and I am impressed. I have sealed about 10 different kinds of food now and it works flawlessly. I like that they have included the bags and I like that they have the hose attachment things for sealing jars though I haven't tried that yet. Instructions could be better so I just watched the videos on here and it was easy.

Every thing needed is included ,10 bags ,hose for canisters (it will work on FS) and extra gasket can't beat that. The ease of use made this much more enjoyable and fun compared to other brand , really there is no comparison
Per pic. this is only a small portion of my actual bounty. And it did just fine no over heating. Sealed in a matter of seconds it's so fast. It does take a learning curve on larger bags, I also purchased rolls 8"×50' and 11"×50' to make custom sized bags they work extremely well.
This machine is powerful@ 80kpa most are 40-60. it's a little work horse. The built in cutter is handy , and the simplicity of control panel is pretty self explanatory. If you freeze your more wet products even a little, this will alleviate a mess and they will seal faster .
The manual was included and is easily understood, if you read and watch review videos you will figure it out pretty fast. Thanks to all of you that did them.
Warranty is tricky not all get the 10 yr as stated by others I recieved a 3 warranty,
I would very much recommend this product.

I've only had it for a couple of days, so far I'm very impressed. This replaces one that broke. So far I have only used on sealing reusable bags, it does an impressive job, Definitely powerful suction, super easy to use, including the attachment, closes easily to the "click" sound. My last one was super hard to close. It's pretty compact in size, my other one was smaller, this one easily would fit in a drawer, mine is in my cupboard My last one, was actually my first vacuum sealer so I didn't have anything to compare to, now I do and the difference between the two is really apparent now. I super happy I bought it, I hope it lasts longer than my other one.

I've tried over and over, but mine just won't consistently seal after vacuuming air out of the bag.
I tried to be really careful in creating ideal factors for the sealer to work. I made sure the bag was flat over the sealer, with plenty of space on either side, the open end in the vacuum chamber and not covering the air intake port. I'll turn the thing on, it'll pull all the air out of the bag, and when it goes to seal, the air will flow right back out again and it'll leave me with an improper semi-seal at the end.
If I try repeatedly, one out of every 3 or 4 times, it'll vacuum and seal the bag correctly. It seems to have a better shot of working if the bag is particularly tiny, like if I'm sealing one chicken breast at a time.
I thought maybe I was a dunce and just didn't understand how to use these vacuum sealers, so I bought a different one, and it works every time.
I feel like with this sort of thing, you really do get what you pay for. It's worth it to get a $100 sealer that consistently works than a $50 dollar sealer that sporadically doesn't. I might return this or keep it as an emergency backup, in case my new vacuum sealer ever quits on me.

This vacuum sealer is amazing and very easy to use! Sleek and compact with a removable cord for easy storage. Super easy to use buttons and settings directly on top of the machine! The bags are easily adjustable with the blade on top which is also perfectly hidden to prevent any chances of cutting yourself! The top and bottom securely clip together before you can begin to ensure a perfect seal and then release easily when seal complete and both side buttons pressed. Overall I am very impressed with this item and look forward to saving a ton of money by sealing and freezing meat and leftovers!! It has an attachment for vacuum sealing wine bottles. Awesome!

I love that it’s small enough to fit into a drawer. I also really like that it has a hose attachment to enable use of reusable bags, which I use for snacks or cooked foods. One area for improvement is the moist seal; would be great if there was an optional manual function to allow user to adjust as sometime there’s more air than desired.

This machine successfully seals one of its own bags about one in every four attempts.
If you use it to seal something with a marinade, selecting the "moist" food input option does nothing - it sucks all the fluid into its innards (there is no way to drain fluids - better devices have a lift-out tray for easy cleaning) and then try to seal the bag through the fluid, which leaves an incomplete seal and wets the area that needs to make a good seal - you will have to manually dry off the bag with a paper towel before you try again.
I own a V2244 by foodsaver, which works flawlessly - I regret leaving it with a relative and thinking this could replace it.

I feel like with this sort of thing, you really do get what you pay for. It's worth it to get a $100 sealer that consistently works than a $50 dollar sealer that sporadically doesn't. I might return this or keep it as an emergency backup, in case my new vacuum sealer ever quits on me.

I was pleasantly surprised by this vacuum sealer. It is so fast and easy to use. It seals the food like a professional. Good bye freezer burn! My only regret is that I didn't get it sooner. I've thrown out so much food in the past because of freezer burn. Another plus, no more leaking food in my freezer like when I've used regular bags. I have to get more bags because I use it so often. It's kind of like a cool kitchen toy ????

I purchased this food vacuum sealer to help preserve some of the veggies and herbs I've been growing and let me tell you it is absolutely wonderful. It is extremely user friendly!!! It gives you the option to seal dry or moist food. The cutter works excellent. It even comes with an accessory tube to vacuum wine corks or canister.

I have a small one that has a wonderful quality that I now crave which is that it has a magnet and can be stuck on the fridge or microwave. The problem is this smaller one is harder to use and not as effective

This is the second vacuum sealer I have owned. This one is the same width as my other but only half the depth, so easier to store. I like the bag slicer being on the top of the sealer. My old one has it inside and the lid always closes as I try to cut the bag. It has the standard sealer functionality. I packaged several items today, and none had any air pockets or other issues. So far I am very pleased. After packaging everything I need to for this winter I will update with anything new.
I also own a KOIOS immersion blender that has been fantastic. Can't go wrong with this brand.

This product is an excellent replacement for the bulky foodsaver machines, various zip-loc bags, and/or plastic tupperware that take up space. This is the first vacuum sealer I decided to purchase and so far I have to say it does a great job with absorbing air, the sealing is tight and I have tried both wet and dry food.
The appliance does not require force for the food suction and subsequent seal. Process is simple, you just lock it on the sides and let it do its job. The appliance came with an additional rubber component for possible replacement to the existing one; I assume for possible wear in the future...big plus!
Overall, I am very content and see myself using this for a long time and even recommend to family. This is a perfect housewarming gift or X-Mas gift for family who spend time in the kitchen.

I had this product for five months and used it only five times before it stopped working. I really liked it for the time it worked. I went online with Koios and I was so pleased with the support. It was a simple process of verifying the purchase and sending in a simple video to show what was wrong. The replacement is on its way. I'll try the new one once it is delivered but sure cant complain about the customer service.

The basic instructions are on the outside of the box. It has an easy to use bag trimmer to trim the bag down to just enough plus one inch, to cover just the amount of food you're going to seal so you don't have a lot of extra bag floating around.
I like the feel of it I like the quality and it's just a real good price and simple product to use. I posted some pictures in a video of my first time using it. The thing I like most is that small pieces of food pizza turkey etc won't be floating around my freezer anymore You see everything tight and it's not easy to open these bags accidentally.
It has an accessory hose to use on containers. And it comes with about 10 of these long bags.
I highly recommend this I guarantee you'll have more fun tidying up your freezer and keeping all your frozen food fresher than ever.

The sealer worked great. There were many valuable options such as the built in cutter and a hose to be used with attachments for vacuum sealing. It included several bags that could be used with the sealer. I love the simplicity of this system and how well it works! The sealer works perfectly itself, it just takes a seconds to vacuum the air out from the bag and seal it. It is easy to use. It comes with bags already, but you definitely need to buy some more, as it’s only 15 bags included.
Also it has been made from a good material and it looks expensive.

I have had a vacuum sealer in the past. It cost more it was heavier, bulky and confusing. It spent much of its time in the cupboard forgotten. I recently got this one and pleasantly surprised of the performance! The suction and seal are why you buy this product, it does the job! The first item was vacuum packed fine then anything after that would not vacuum seal only seal. I had to freeze the items without vacuum. I will try contacting the company to see if they have any suggestions . If this proves to be helpful I will update this review.

I left the bad review due to the vacuuming issue initially. A customer manager sent me a new one and it works very well. now I can store my coffee beans, Costco meats, and other food ingredients. Now I am satisfied with my purchase. so I would like to give a 5 review rate. But I rated 4 because I feel bad to put the old one in the trash bin and wasted lots of bags for trying with the old one) Overall, I like it. specially It is smaller compare to other sealer machines, so it is also good for a small kitchen.

I'm an old fashioned girl who likes a manual I can refer to when using a product. I know it's the new way to do it all online but living in a mountain community, we don't have the greatest wifi service so having a book to refer to would be awesome. Otherwise, very happy with the sealer. No more wasted or freezer burned food.
