Has anyone had for a couple years, How did it hold up, any rust or kept covered. stuff you would think of? Thanks and be safe.

Answer: I have had it 6 months. I use it camping (Maybe 10 times) I keep it covered outside at all times. It currently does not have any rust. For the quality of the metal that it is constructed out of, it it holding up very well, in my opinion.

Does it have a vent?

Answer: Yes. The bottom 2 sections both have a door you can open and close, pipe at the top pf course and its completely open underneath. Plenty of airflow.

Does the dome lid fit on the base part(where the charcoal is) so that I can use the smoker as a grill?

Answer: yes

Can you hang meat?

Answer: Yes, there's a bar on the inside at the very top and it comes with 3 small hooks.

Answer: I can honestly say if you are new to smoking this is not the smoker for you.. too hard to keep temperature steady, draft uptake is a pain. If you’re not experienced with a smoker and know how to get around the issues of this smoker don’t waste your time at all with this piece of junk

Is it difficult to assemble?

Answer: No..very simple

This electric or charcoal and where you put the wood chips thank you

Answer: It's charcoal. Its divided into 3 sections with the coals at the bottom. There's a water pan in the middle with another grill up top. Btw, Put your wood chips on top of the coals after you soak them and you will be good to go. I use this little grill at least twice a week and really like it.

There are no assembly instructions included in box, upon first use the latch for the bottom door broke off. This latch is made of really thin sheet metal as well as the rest of the Smoker. Regulating heat is close to impossible due to design, in order to get to a temp above 150 I had to slightly remove the top as the exhaust isn't enough to keep the coals hot enough. The heat resistant paint on the bottom section is starting to come off after 1st use as well.

Was difficult to keep a temperature. The legs will bend easily. Hard to flip or move product through the hatch doors. Adding more charcoal and wood chips is difficult unless you take it all apart to do it

Barely bump into it and it's bent, that's how thin the stamped steel is.

This smoker is very flimsy and a piece of the wood adding door broke off so the smoke seeps out to much. I am mad I even spent $80.00 on this thing. It wobbles and the outside handle gets to hot. Spend a little extra to buy a good smoker lucky this is a one time use because thats all I am getting out of this one. Bad buy.

When I first opened the box, I thought the product constuction was a little thin/cheaply made, but one I got it together it felt pretty good. It was also easier to put together than I thought. I've bbq'd once and smoked on it once and it worked really well. It didnt give it 5 stars only because I wished it was a little bigger. However, it's perfect for a a family of 3 or 4, or as a portable type pit. Worth the money.
