What is the best way to sharpen this knife?

Answer: I use a couple of stones finishing with a fine. Then I use the same strop I use for my straight razor to finish. Make sure to sharpen at a 15 degree angle. I haven't had to sharpen this knife yet but this is how I sharpen all my knives. ( Angle will vary with knife application).

Very good fillet knife for fish! I also use it to trim fat off briskets and tenderloins. Easy maintenance, easy honing, just as described. The sheath is real leather and fits on my tactical belt.

What I like best is the way it feels. Just by the weight and balance you know you have a quality knife in your hand. Well balance, perfect and precise control. The blade is razor sharp and it makes it so easy to use as I let “it” do clean cuts one after the other - no need to apply any pressure like my old filet knifes. In the picture you can see the last brisket I did with so much ease. I also had fun with a tomato and I was very impressed. So much control and it went through it like it was butter, even the paper thin slices.

My father taught me how to fish and I will get him this knife for Father’s day. It’s a really valuable gift showing my sincere appreciation that he will enjoy immensely. And he will show it off to all his friends! It’s that great!
