This kit seems ok. Unfortunately they sent me the long blades instead of the Colorado style blades that are pictured and we're the reason I ordered this kit but since they were for a fishing themed party we did not have time to return them.

I love this kit .you can let the imagination run wild and create some awesome fishing lures .takes a little practice to make loops .

I got this set primarily for the wife and blades. After receiving it I realized the wires are too short for making any other style baits (wooden crank baits and jerk bait) but i decided i would use this set to teach my kids (4yo twins) how to make some basic spinner lures. They are just getting in to fishing with me, and wanted more lures for their little tackle boxes. We made a few of them and they loved it. Best suggestion is to wrap the hooks in electrical tape so they can hold them. Obviously i had to do most of the work, but they picked out the parts, and were able to slide them on the wires, i did the the rest. It was a fun project for them, and now they have a handful of glowing lures they are quite happy with. I cant wait to get them out on the water with them to catch a fish on their own homemade lures. Have fun with it, and remember this is an extremely basic set.
