I tried this crazy spinning lure : it looks great but dont think the design is good..on the wing action. so is it ment to be bent upward ?????

Answer: I tried the Lure on several occasions also, and it didn't do very good (i.e. I never caught a single fish on it).

Answer: Yes it more of a top water jig. Quick jerk motions the backwards wings catch more water beware though a big fish my lures eye ring pulled right out.

Answer: yes, but all it seems to do is spin around. i agree with michael f. the crazy crawler is a better lure.

Answer: Yes it is a top water lure but I would recommend heddons crazy crawler as a better lure

Well the lure came in today and it looked great but the wings arent opened wide enough to do the wobble motion if u compare this lure to the pompadour.the pompadour has a very wide open side flaps as for this one it was narrow which causes it to roll/spin/twirl on water surface. BUT!!!! with some 1 min air blowdryer on each wing folding it back to straighten it out the motion of the lure is corrected. Hope this helps everyone out.

I made one cast with this lure and caught a bass. I do not plan to cast it again unless I get my canoe repaired and float again. I rate it high, but one has to know it is for lightweight fishing (my favorite) and it does not wobble like I had hoped but tends to spin in the water. I absolutely got what I expected so for the price it is good so long as your expectations are in line. It looks exactly like the live Cicada I found earlier this year.
