Answer: Hi, the Supertrip bait is an inviting bait to certain fish I imagine. I bot this bait last summer to fish in June, 2018 in the CA Sierra's mountain lake at 8000' elevation. The lake is fed by snow run off and offers many species for trout & Kokanee salmon. Used it twice trolling & shore fishing with no success. I Intent to use it this summer 2019 at the same water in addition to other water as well. Thank you for your question, RP

Unsure what the action on these are supposed to look like, but it doesn't have very smooth action like a jointed rapala or xrap, looks more like a wounded fish swimming on the surface. Had some pike hit it, but pike will hit anything.

This was a gift to my son who lives in Southern Indiana. He has used it the last few days and has caught several bass around 1 and 2 pounds in just a few minutes and one bluegill that the lure was bigger than the fish!! He is excited about using it when the weather warms up. He says that the fish hit it hard like they are trying to fight it rather than eat it.

I ordered the set of 2 lures to test them out and see how I liked them. The packaging was pretty basic, but the lures more than make up for that. The pain job looks to be on par with other manufacturers and the action is great! The lure has a life like appearance when being fished and the hooks have nice sharp points. These would make for a great gift than any fisherman would live in their box or a great addition to a growing tackle box

I am just getting into fishing and I was trying to get together a diverse tool box to see what the local fish liked. Most of my lures are small. I was surprised at how big this lure was and I was nervous it would not work. The colors of the fish make it look very realistic and a test in the sink assured me that the movements of the fish look realistic too. This fish looks like a vulnerable fish about ready to die. Due to the placement and type of hook, this little lure gets fish quite easily. I was surprised at how effective this lure is. The big fish must have a sense for little fish that are dying cause it gets the big fish coming.
I have only taken this lure out on one outing so I will have to update later if the durability fails me. So far I am happy. The lure is light and easy to use. If you have never used this type of lure before, try practicing in the tube or on the shore to get the method down. The only major issue I see is part of the segments breaking off if a big fish only gets part of it in its mouth.
