I purchased these old style Arbogast Plugs partly out of nostalgia. They are the type of plugs I used when first bass fishing almost 60 years ago. They are now made in China, but look the same. I needed some top water plugs for the summer bass fishing and these will be perfect.
As far as, will they catch fish? who knows, there's too many variables. I know there is bass in the lake and at dusk they go for the top water plugs. I'll be ready with these good looking lures.

This is a nice assortment of hula poppers and they are a classic and have caught many fish. I would definitely recommend, especially as not many people are throwing these as often today with the wider variety available. This may be different enough that it will catch too a tournament winning fish.

I told my buddy who is brand new to fishing to grab this combo for his starting set. He caught 5 bass the first time out on a boat and missed many more. I was blown away at how well it performed and picked up a pack myself. I'm not a huge fan of the hula popper there are much better options out there for frogs including the frog jitterbug included than it. whether you are an experience fishermen looking to increase your tackle or a new fishermen/fisherwomen you cannot go wrong with jitterbugs.

3/8oz is the weight so your knot game better be right, I caught this bass off the bank on a 12LB trilene line on a cloudy afternoon. The hooks are huge, but they didn't let this one get away. Good luck.

I've been using jitterbugs and hulapoppers all my life. They work so well that I wear them out. A black jitterbug after dusk is a guaranteed bass catcher. One thing I've learned: remove the forward barbs. It unscrews. Bass hit the tail of the lure or swallow it whole. All the forward barb does is cause bleeding (mine). Save the forward barb for the time the rear one breaks.

I have been a huge fan of jitterbug lures since the early 1970's. All sizes catch fish. Good colors, good hooks, good strike to hook up ratio. Everyone needs to own at least one. Hula Poppers are even more popular, but I prefer the straight retrieve of a Jitterbug over the popping of the Hula Popper.

So I just started bass fishing in May of 2019 and purchased these in august of 2019 I love these lures so much, I’ll be honest I don’t use the popper that much but the jitterbugs u can not go wrong with they catch small fish to big fish no matter what. I have been fishing with buddy’s and watched them catch nothing as I pull in 3 bass in 40 mins with the black jitterbug. This is by far my go to lure when the bite is good or bad, I like to fish it by giving it a 4-5 second retrieve into a 2-3 second pause it’s super effective and ik I said this already but this is one of my favorite lures. Will purchase the jitterbugs for life and always buy the newest lures they put out. I recently bought the buzz plug by this brand but didn’t use it yet but i already know it’s gonna crush it ???????? Tight lines boys ????????
