APT, Premium Teflon glass cloth tape

Non-stick, low friction

Glass cloth backing impregnated with Teflon PTFE. This tape provides a slick surface on process machinery and offers an extremely low coefficient of friction which, in combination with a pressure sensitive silicone adhesive, creates a non-stick surface that performs at elevated temperatures.

Heat sealer Teflon glass cloth tape provides a quick and durable solution to help reduce build-up on packaging and heat sealing machines. It functions as a longer-lasting, anti-stick or easy-release medium between surfaces where pressure, temperature changes and other factors may create a measure of adhesion.	Roller Covering Covering rollers, drums, turnbars and formers on stitches, binders and other process machinery.	Heat Transfer and Packaging It is made by coating a fiberglass cloth with PTFE. One side is also coated with a pressure sensitive adhesive, which permits these tapes to be used at temperatures of 500 degrees F. This unique combination of materials is also resistant to tears, punctures and abrasions. For these reasons, they are widely used in the packaging , chemical processing industries.

Canadian Buzzard : Sticky on one side, and non-stick on the other

I used this tape as a replacement cutting strip for my vinyl cutter. The Teflon coated strips that the equipment manufacturer sells are expensive, so I found this Teflon tape. This is not plumber's tape to wrap pipe threads. That kind of thin white tape is not actually Teflon. This tape is fiberglass coated with teflon, similar to the cutting strip I was replacing, but not as thick and rigid. It still works great! One thing I had to do is cut the roll in my shop to make a thinner roll that matched the width of the strip. The adhesive side sticks well and can be pulled up and repositioned. I'm sure there are other uses for this tape that the manufacturer hasn't thought about. I'm glad I found it.
