Answer: It comes with a USB port and cord. Just plug into your computer or other wall wart and it charges. Works Great!

Answer: Yes it will seal the crinkly clear cello bags. The floppier bags, like sandwich bags, are the hardest bags to reseal. In any case it takes a little practice to get the right pressure and speed for each bag. If I am resealing a new bag with not much headroom, I will do a corner of the bag to get the feel before doing the actual seal.

How do you know its charged fully?
Answer: It has no indicator so You actually don't know. When it's not fully charged it doesn't work. The device heat seals the bags. No power -no heat- no seal. I plug mine into the charger every few days. It will also charge in a very short time, enough to seal a bag. This is a worth while product.
Answer: It is supposed to take around 45 minutes to be fully charged. However, even when fully charged still doesn’t perform well.

Ours got stuck shut? How do I open it back up without breaking it?
Answer: Did you use it in a quick smooth application? It should not have stuck to any degree. Get a refund or ask for a replacement. It might be defective. If you have to pry it open, something is definitely wrong with it. These are really nice mini sealers and work very well. I've had mine for a year now without any problems. They are not strong enough to use on sealing mylar bags. Seems like maybe you left it standing to long in one place and the innards melted together. Hope's this helps. Good luck!

Answer: I had a hard time getting it to work on any bag. I tried several different kinds with virtually no luck. It was a very flimsy seal and took too much time for the device to heat up. I do not recommend!

Answer: First make sure that your Air Lock Bag Resealer is fully charged prior to use, another tip is to try sealing at a slower rate with thicker bags.

Answer: As examples of what I've used the sealer on: metalic potato chip bags; zip-type baggies to make them smaller; some old, thick plastic sheeting to seal up TV controls (kitchen control gets mighty sticky without this); and, yes, seal-a-meal bags to customize them to odd shapes. i always test the materials first, then, when it inevitably works, I go ahead and create whatever I need. This is the cutest and MOST USEFUL tool I've acquired lately.

I trusted the other reviewers and now I wish I hadn't. This is a waste of time and money. It doesn't seal, it just gets way too hot too fast and melts and slices off the plastic. I'm constantly having to be careful of how hard I squeeze it, a gentle squeeze seems even too much for this sealer to work. I'm returning it - don't waste your time and money.

I use this little gadget for sealing the shrink wrap on my Soaps before the final shrink. The description says heats in 5 seconds. Mine heats in about 2 seconds otherwise it smells like burnt plastic. The two stars lost is that It claims to work for a thousand uses, I can only seal about 25 items max before it needs a recharge. (6 inch length bags).

I was beyond excited to use this tool. I saw many advertisements on how this handy device could strengthen the longevity of your bagged items by resealing them. I was beyond disappointed when the charge wouldn’t last and the device didn’t heat up consistently enough to actually do the job I wanted. I was always frustrated with the consitanct of sealing I eventually just threw this product away. To be honest, if you’re considering it, I’d suggest you just save your time and money. I will never buy this again.

I agree with Steve. I bought this dealer and after some time it only sealed about 2in. I tried recharging, for a while it only would work while charging. Now nothing. Too much money for this product.
