Can these bags be loaded up in the dishwasher (top or bottom rack) to be cleaned?

Answer: I didn't try; seemed flimsy and wasn't sure they would be leak proof afterward. I would do so with silicon bags, however.

Answer: It is better to hand wash it to prolong its life.

Can I use this to seal mason jar lids?

MSD : If it sounds too good to be true, it is.

I have spent HOURS AND HOURS on prepping food for the freezer. I checked the bags a couple of days after freezing them and they are NOT HOLDING THEIR VACUUM. I am so disappointed.
