The Custom Speed Spin features a flush and drain port (200, 300, 400 models) for easy application of spray lubricant.

Is this left hand reel or right hand?

Answer: It has a screw in handle that can be switched to either right or left hand retrieve.

Answer: Its reversible like most spinning reels. Good fishin'!

Whats the differance in a cs and a ts speed spin ?

Answer: The Speed Spin I bought was poorly built.

Answer: Check MFR spec for rotations ratio. This reel is 6.2/1. Really an excellent reel but not quite fast enough for speed cranking hard baits.

Is the reel a solid white color or is it a light grey?

Answer: The primary color is not white white. To my eyes it is kind of pearl, ie, similar to a lot of plastic baits in the color pearl. It has that pearl sheen. Hope that helps.

Is this reel mainly for ocean fishing or would it be good for rivers and lakes?

Answer: This isn't a saltwater reel. This reel is made to use in freshwater such as lakes and rivers.

Answer: Would be great for both river and lake fishing. Use it for inshore fishing also but I wash it down with fresh water afterwards and lube it also

Answer: Great reel for the money and can be used for ocean and fresh water. I use mine in salt water

Answer: I use mine for bass fishing throwing finesse baits. Anything from Ned rig to spy baits. Works great and in my opinion it’s hard to beat Lew’s.
