I was casting for the 1st time on a muskie fishing trip and after 15 minutes the last two sections of the lure broke off. Any input?Very disappointed

Answer: Ok mine broke off casting or same as I drilled and put a bolt in the back half now it works perrfect

10/18/20 Took it fishing and a big muskie hit. I'm still trying figure out what happened. Can see the teeth marks on the back of the lure. I guess he just missed the hook.

Broke in half just from hitting the water on the 3rd cast I made. No snag, no fish, no weeds and no rocks for it to hit. I returned it. Best action and as realistic looking as can be. My friends that were with me were all set to buy one after I showed them the way it swam and looked in the water on my second cast. Then only half of the lure came back e

Looks great, great action, loudest rattles I have ever heard. Too bad it is poorly constructed. Literally did not stand up to a half hour of muskie fishing. One of the eyes came off within the first 10 casts. Then as others have said one of the segments started to come apart from the rest and another segment had the seam split. Shame. I have used MANY segmented lures and usually only after a few years had them fail. Glad I never got bit because the lure would most likely come apart during a battle. :(

Caught this “Big Boy” within 15 min on Mille Lacs Lake in Garrison MN. This 44” Northern completely destroyed the lure the second it hit the water. The fight was on.! What a heart pounding moment and would definitely recommend this product. ( This monster was only literally “inch’s” shy of breaking a new Minnesota state record.
