How many pieces does this come with?

Answer: None of the Gulp Alive products worked for me. Not sure why, but the bluegills just ignored it. A piece of a live nightcrawler and other live worm are what I turn to when the fish are in a pickle mood and will not take a small jig with a tiny plastic cricket.

Tea : Probably works, need to use it more at different locations.

Tried using this on panfish at the pond, did not get too many takes. Panfish do not keep the bait in their mouths long enough for me to set the hook. Maybe the panfish here in GA are used to eating bread...

These are very good for catching pan fish. Live bait works a little bit better but they are usually only good for one strike. Just make sure the hook is the proper size for the type of fish you want.

I always catch bluegill with these.

If you have little kids with short attention spans, and need to hook up fish (bluegills) quick these work great. Bluegill have hard time knocking them off the hook and in most cases they are good for a few catches unlike dough baits. I even smash the barbs on my hooks and they stay on.

I tried the product only twice. The first time I had no luck. Next time I went fishing I started off with live waxworm and the bluegills was really biting that day, so I switched to the waxie bait and caught quite a few also. My total catch that day was 22. I always have a moist towelette because I clean my hands after handling the waxie.(smells)

I tip all my flys with one of these. Triple your catch. Using for many years. Some previous poster said there were around 25 or so maggots. Not do, more like a hundred or more.

I put two of these on a 64th ounce jug below a bobber. People nearby were amazed by the fish crappie and sunfish I was throwing back. Why keep 7-8" fish when the 10-12's are biting. They outlast worms, hold on the hook better than Berkley crappie nibbles and outfish tubes on jigs. Crappie, also known as calico bass, sunfish also known as bluegill, kivvers, and a few other names.

Junk...I go to my usual panfish location (water is clear and you can see the panfish) and they would not touch these, they just stare at them. I used real crickets and they go crazy but they would not touch this plastic stuff.

My advise is not to waste your money and buy better bait. This might work once in awhile if they're schooling but you won't get a bite most of the time.
