Answer: None of the Gulp Alive products worked for me. Not sure why, but the bluegills just ignored it. A piece of a live nightcrawler and other live worm are what I turn to when the fish are in a pickle mood and will not take a small jig with a tiny plastic cricket.

Mark Twain : My advise is not to waste your money and buy better bait

Junk...I go to my usual panfish location (water is clear and you can see the panfish) and they would not touch these, they just stare at them. I used real crickets and they go crazy but they would not touch this plastic stuff.

My advise is not to waste your money and buy better bait. This might work once in awhile if they're schooling but you won't get a bite most of the time.

These are very good for catching pan fish. Live bait works a little bit better but they are usually only good for one strike. Just make sure the hook is the proper size for the type of fish you want.

I always catch bluegill with these.

Son loves catching little fish for bait. Put these on a #12 snell hook and these are gold. Saves money in the long run by not buying worms every outing. One will work almost the entire fishing trip and he can rebait his own hook. Son is five.
