Tried them on pond Bluegill. Not a single catch. Thought maybe the spinner was scarring them so I cut one off. Still nothing. Switched to the Eagle Claw Lazer Sharp Pro-V Jighead and caught 9 Bluegill.

small and medium hook rigs bent straight after getting hooked by bigger fish over 5lbs and snagging on underwater branches. spinners have okay action but can get tangled if working with a swivel with a short sinker line rig. okay for small pond fish. Would recommend 4/0 gamakatsu worm or circle hooks with a senko or roboworm setup.

Have not caught any panfish with these Fin Spins yet but they work well on bass! Using the 1/16 oz paired with a YumYum white grub. BFS setup. Great micro underspin lures! Will try them on spotted bay bass next!
For bass, I slow roll it right off the bottom. The shape of the jig, IMHO, allows the lure to pop over branches and structure. The blade is always spinning.
