John : It will work very well for you for freshwater easy to fold up very convenient

I like how it convenient it was to take down to the bridge but anything that was heavy and large with slide-out edge of it so don't expect to put anything in there over 8 lb

How bad quality! Never caught anything! And got a big hole under the bottom, the net is not strong at all. And the zipper is not working any more.

If you're fishing for bait fish don't bother. It needed a 10 lbs weight to sink and good luck if the tide is strong. It's like a kite but underwater. If you're in a lake or pond it'll work but it will not sink. Need a heavy weight.

This net trap is roomy and easy to set up. However, the openings are so big that turtles can enter. I could deal with the turtles, but never the is no large opening for dumping, I have to reach in the minnow entrance and grab by hand, avoid injury, and wrangle them out.

I wouldn't buy it again, but it will catch minnows.

Used on the Louisiana gulf coast. Tossed some cat food in, caught plenty of white shrimp and small pogies to use as bait. Too fragile for crabs.
