Answer: I do bot know

Do this trap work in a salt water pond?

Answer: Maybe once or twice,mesh is very light weight and framing wire is not stainless. Wouldn't last very long I wouldn't believe.

Answer: you just have to rinse it off afterwards

How big are the entry holes?

Answer: quarter inch. a little large for small bait fish. I didn't like the quality of the net, it broke the first day and I can't return it. Oh well, live and learn.

Be sure to re-tie the bogus knot someone tied from the rope to the net. I would imagine it would come untied on the first use.. Lasted a few days for me. Stone Crabs tore a few holes in it.

Read the instructions. I did not and wished I would have when I cut the zip ties off and realized I wasn't supposed to.
Anyway, it works. Caught a few fish, one decently large. For 10 bucks it worked fine.

Ive built and used alot of bait traps and this one seems like it should work but i have yet to been able to catch any fish with it

I bought these to catch small minnows, the kind that normally go through nets and seines. For that, it works quite well but anything bigger or a crab is going to tear it up. Net is very thin, think Dollar Tree bug nets for kids. A crab would rip right through it. The zip ties hold everything together. I mistakenly cut one and had to fix. I double zip tied all points and replaced the string with something stronger. There is no bait net, I just tossed in an open can of cat food to attract and weight. I also cut the bottom off clear plastic cups and put into the entrances to keep them open. There is no central collection point so you have to reach in each section to get the minnows. All in all, it does work for little stuff, don't expect it to last long though.

Cheaply made and zipper didn't work. This is garbage and not worth $5 bucks. I wouldn't be suprised if this was at the dollar store.
