Is reel suitable for saltwater use?

Answer: I use mine for bass finesse fishing using 4 pound test line and very light lures/plastics (1/16 oz or less) on an ultra-light rod. I’m not sure where that would be suitable for saltwater use and I’m not sure of its durability in saltwater.

Answer: I have one and I use it for salt water , has bronze gear and stainless steel bearings , I do rinse my reel after I use them .

How come there’s no option to choose right or left hand?

How can I get an extra spool for this reel from someone here on Amazon?

The product might be fine but it is wrong handed for me. Bad discription I selected a star because because I could not submit. I was not able to use the reel because it was wrong handed for me and I was wanting to price a Shimano reel in the first place

This is a nice entrie level Bait Finesse System reel. With the right rod, like the "11Amber Kuying 1.98m L casting rod " sold here on Amazon. I can easily throw 1/8oz swimjig with this setup. Looking forward to throwing some small crankbaits at weedlines. This is a fun setup to use.
