What size hook does the 3/8 ounce size have?

Answer: I have this jig./ It's a good size. I'd say it's about a 4/0. It looks right for the size jig it is. Has a bait keeper. Not a texas rig option. Just thread trailer on there. Exposed hook with brush guard. It's a good jig

Can I use this for saltwater?

Answer: It is not recommended since it does not have a corrosion-resistant hook.

hook size for 1/4 oz? they always seem gigantic/oversized on most jigs

Answer: 1/4oz = 3/0

Do you need any sinkers/lead when using this bait? (New to fishing)

Answer: No... the head of the bait is weighted, so no additional weight is needed. The jigs come in several different weights and should be purchased according to the conditions you're fishing in.

Answer: No sir. This bait comes as seen with a nice heavy weight with line tie. Brush guard to make your bait pretty much weedless. Then the skirt adds body to your bait to give it a bigger presentation in the water. What we do with this bait is take a plastic crayfish and thread it on the hook so the claws are coming out from behind that skirt there. Or you can use other plastic baits that kind of hand out of the back. We call that a trailer. Most jigs are fished with a trailer. Not weedless. Cast or flip this out and bounce/drag it back to boat or shore slowly. You'll get one with it for sure!

This product was great, tried it out today and caught a few nice sized LMBs. I would probably like to see a wire keeper to keep the trailer in position. Other than that, I paired it up with a 4” Zako swim bait jogging it by the rocky shoreline, a bass came up and inhaled it on the spot. I tried a Rage Craw and flipped it through the grass and another decent sized LMB took it on the fall. So far I’m impressed as it swam well through grass with minimal grass getting caught.

I have arthritis in my handa. I stay away from anything that has treble hooks. I have been trying swim jugs as a search bait.
I got some Reaction 3/8. I used a 3.8 Kitech. I am impressed with this setup. So far, it works great. Fits right in with me, since I am a finesse fishing lover.
